Is my pump taking a dump?
If the pump went dry and it is old, it will very likely whine - a common Ford "situation". Replacing the pump may or may not help. If it is not too loud live with it.

Why does the horn and hazard lights on my 1999 Ford Windstar keep flashing and horn keep blowing?
Just a guess but your remote may be shorting out on the panic button. Try taking the battery out of the remote and just using the key to open the doors for a day or two and see if it still does it. If not, replace the remote. Another more likely possibility with this particular vehicle could be the door switches. The door switches on my Windstar would cause the dome light to stay on all the time when the contacts get corroded. If you van is locked with the alarm armed it could be the door switch causing the alarm to think someone has opened a door even when they haven't. (You can remove and clean or just replace all of the door switches or track down the particular suspected door switch. Mine was always the sliding door..clean the contacts with scotch brite or steel wool and coat with very thin battery terminal grease.)

What is the mhf sensor located on a 1999 ford windstar
Never heard of a MHF sensor. There is an MAF sensor, (Mass Air Flow) located inside the air body where the air filter housing is though. Check your data and repost with engine size if that is not the answer you seek. Also a trouble code would be helpful to determine what the problem may be.

What is yhe ckp sensor on a 1999 ford windstar
The CKP sensor is actually the Crankshaft Position Sensor. It is responsible for ignition timing. When each piston reaches the position for firing, the CKP sensor informs the engine control module. The engine control module then responds by sending a signal to the ignition coil to fire the corresponding spark plug for that piston. If the sensor is defective typically you will have a no start condition for the engine, but the engine will still turn over when you try to start it.
It is located on the front of the engine next to the harmonic balancer. You should see a plug connected to it.

How can having a broken transmission cause the headgaskets to blow?
yes it could, should never allow your engine to rev up that high continuously during normal driving. Sounds like the tranny needs a new Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) causing it to shift incorrectly, or incorrect shift cable adjustment. A check engine code may help you identify the problem, they read it for free at Autozone.

99 ford windstar will crank but wont start after over heating?
While overheating may be the issue, does the exhaust emit a steam-like cloud or sweet smell? There is a part which cuts off power to the fuel pump. This part is called an Inertia sensor. If a door or the hood is slammed, it can activate.
It is usually behind a front floor kickpanel and has a reset button on it. Read the Web for articles showing photos.

How do repair this coolant leak?
If you or a friend have any experience with brazing it's possible that the hole could be brazed shut. The other option is to just bypass that coolant line. That line supplies coolant to the air intake manifold and throttle body to assist with warming the air charge on cold winter days. There should be an input and an output line coming from the manifold Connect the two together with a piece of brake tubing from a parts store and clamp them together. (Personally that is what I would do. I had a 98 Ford Windstar with 260,000 miles)
