For some reason you lost power. Start at the battery, checking connections, check connections on the engine block(grounds), connections at the starter. What is the repair history on the van? Is this problem intermittent? A faulty ignition switch could cause your problem.

Check coil/ignition module, then crank/cam sensor. Most parts stores can check the module.

Look on the inside of the liftgate and you'll spot a plastic trim panel/piece directly behind the High Mount brake light. Gently pry this piece off and you'll have access to the bulb and socket.

Do you have a factory Ford alarm / anti theft system installed. Does your key have a large plastic end on it? is there a flashing red LED in the dashboard that may or may not flash double speed when you turn the key to crank? When you changed the battery, was the bad one DEADER than DEAD for a long time or did you take the old battery out and leave it out for several days before installing the new one? If yes answers any of these, the anti theft circuit has been triggered. If you have the Ford alarm system and if the battery has been out of the vehicle for several days or dead empty, The program in the computer that governs the anti theft system no longer recognizes your key as the correct one. There is a little chip in that big plastic head on your key similar to the things at Walmart that catches thieves or the chip that they inject into dogs so they can be traced back to their owner. In the case of the car, there is a sensor in the steering column next to the starter switch. When you start the car, it scans your key. if it's the right key / chip, the car will start. If some car thief gets ahold of your key and makes a wax cast of it and cuts a key like it. He can unlock your door and glove box but if he tries to start the car, it won't recognize the key and won't start the car. I was warned by Ford to NOT buy a "valet key". This is a key that you might give a valet to park / retreve your car instead of your whole ring of keys. Some people used to do this so some dishonest valet or car mechanic wouldn't make a key copy, find your address on you papers in your car, take his copy and rob your house. Back on track, Ford said that some vehicles,(This happens at random for no apparent reason), some vehicles if a key WITHOUT the chip is tried in the ignition, it will deprogram the system and will need to be reset. If ANY of this is the cause of your problem, it will need to be towed to a dealer, have BOTH keys in hand, and be reprogrammed. When it happened to my 2001 Windstar, the battery was defective so I had it towed to Walmart as the battery was almost new. They installed a new one and got all out of shape when they couldn't start it to verify that my charging system wasn't the cause of failure. I called AAA back and had it towed to Ford where I had to buy a $20.00 key as my wife still had hers at home 12 miles away. Nobody said that they had to have 2 keys to reprogram it. (plus $65.00 labor in 2009) Anyway, good luck. Jeff M.

you probably have a bad door switch you may need to manualy unplug each switch one at a time to find the right one

Follow the fuel line to the engine. Look over the fuel rails and fuel connections looking for any cracks or breaks.

Sorry no idea without a look to see the cause of the problem ,so i would advise you ask a local mechanic to investigate for you

The fuel pump relay ought to be in a Powerbox under the hood. You might investigate the Inertia switch to see if the switch activated. This would kill the power to the fuel pump and is a safety item. You can Search for videos and photos of the parts you want by creating a search using your computer. Title it with your Make and Model and Year vehicle and then add terms like location of inertia switch or location of fuel pump relay. Some mechanics post Youtube videos and other media for fixing vehicles. Usually the inertia switch is behind a front floor kick panel and has a reset button on it.

it is located on drivers side under frame twards fuel tank where passengers seat would be.

Could be a bad battery cable or connection, including the ground cables.
