Where is Bank 1 H20s sensor Located
A Bank 1 O2 sensor error usually means that you have a fouled spark plug, a stuck fuel injector, or a bad spark plug wire; not necessarily that the sensor itself has gone bad. (It is an "out of range" error.)

I'm having a hard time getting my 1996 Ford Explorer to crank, the only thing it's doing is making a crunk sound.and it's coming from by the solenid it's a black box on the same side.I charge the batt.
The Positive Battery Cable is known to go bad with corrosion within the copper cable at BOTH ends.... a quick fix... replace the cable... If you are careful you can use a battery jumper cable to bridge the cable between the positive battery post and the other end of the battery cable. This should be a 2 person job as a starting engine could cause the cable to move and SHORT out something and even catch the jumper cable on FIRE.... As young Will Robinson would hear at a time like this from the "Robot"... Danger young Will Robonson.... danger.... ( 1960's lost on space.... I am dating myself...)Next would be a bad Starter or a bad connection between the starter seloniod and the Starter...Watched a video on youtube the other day with a bad battery cable and the 12 volts went to 2 volts when trying to start with the bad cable.. It stayed at 2 volts until the battery was disconnected then reconnected.

Can you use atf+4 transmission fluid in a 1996 ford explorer
The transmission fluid you use should have a Ford approval number on the back of the bottle. If it doesn't, then any warranty done by a Ford Dealer on the trans since 1996 is void. Most trans have a 100K mile warranty when new and after any complete replacements. Using the wrong Spec. trans fluid will damage the transmission and always check the level when the engine is hot as ATF expands when heated. Mobil ATF D/M will work... Mobil Synthetic ATF won't in your Explorer! Ford comes with Exxon ATF from the factory and owners state that it's not the best.

Does a 1996 ford explorer 4.0 eddie baurer have a lock out torque converter
do you mean a Lock-up torque converter ? if so yes ford made electrically lockable torque converters since 94 ( all torque converters are hydraulic activated ,lock-up is proformed using a electric solenoid ) , but only certain transmissions made by ford had them , decode your vin number on left corner of dash to determine if you have E4od transmission or 4a400 model these have solenoid
I ask this because to my knowledge only race cars use a LOck out converter (aka "transbrake") for very high hp startss
