1995 Ford Probe Questions & Answers
1995 ranger 2.3L
I would test the tps and map sensors. Sorry, but I don't have the procedures. Each has 3 terminals and in each case, two of the terminals should have linear variation of resistance with input changes.

Where do I add Transmission fluid on a 95 ford Probe??
So you know, I am not insulting you. I don't know what you know or what you don't know. From your symptoms, I'm confused. If you pulled the trani pan down and the trani dip-stick still read "Full", you pulled the wrong dip-stick. Your transmission takes Mercon and you will need a narrow funnel that will fit inside the trani dip-stick tube. Follow the dip-stick tube all the way to the bottom and verify that it goes to the transmission. When you pulled the trani pan down you should have four or more quarts empty into your drain-pan. Until you can confirm that the the trani is properly filled, don't continue to use the car. Running the engine while the trani is empty can damage internal componants. If you have any questions, please write back, good luck.
Trunk and dome lights not working
Hi Nail, It is very probable that the fuse protection are the same for all circuits you mention. It sounds as if you've created a short circuit, which is causing your problems. We need to go back to the beginning and begin again, carefully checking how the connections were made and then rectify the mistakes. Regards John
What do i need to be changed it stalls when pushing on the brakes and plus the idle.
i need a little more info, 2 things could be the problem, first you could have a bad brake booster causing an extreme vacume leak which could stall the engine, or at least make it run very rough and stumble when brakes are applied, the other thing could be a low batt, when appling the brakes the brake lights will come on causing a voltage drop to the engine causing it to stall, whoever the condition would drain the batt to the point that it probably wont have enough power to restart the engine, if this is the case you would also need to check the alternator for charge rate easy enough to check hook a voltmeter to the battery with the engine running it should read at least 13.5 volts up to but not exceeding 14.9 volts
