Lack of power
sounds like your catalytic converter could be stoped up or your timing may be off a little also check all your vacuum hoses

My ford explorer will not turn over when hot
Also check the Red battery cable for swelling under the insulator due to battery acid wicking into the cable conductor, if found replace the cable. You can also have a defective starter motor, next time this happens jump the sub solenoid for the starter (near the battery, see picture, apply 12 volts to the small terminal with thread push on lead) and see if it engages, if it does the replace the starter or the starter solenoid.

Motor wont turn over but starter is trying to just wont fire up
How is the battery and battery connections? New and clean should be your answer. After two years a battery will not be in good shape and corrosion will have occurred between the terminals between battery and vehicle. Have battery checked and clean the mating surfaces of the connectors before you connect it back up. Replace battery if it fails test, charge it fully otherwise.

Code 21 cts
Camshaft position sensor over advanced on Bank2. Out of range can mean overadvanced beyond specs. This is not good for the engine. If this is an "interference engine" the valves could hit the pistons.Your sensor could be stuck or the mechanism which advances to cam could be stuck.
