Remove the wiper blades and let the motor cycle a few times as if you were actually wiping the windshield. Then turn off the wipers at the control knob or lever. Re-attach the wiper arms so they are parallel with the bottom of the window yet still on the window. Hopefully this will help. Also, since you replaced the motor, did the new motor you installed have intermittent capability like the original one did? If the motor didn't have intermittent capability like the original then this could also be your problem

Not sure about your car but on my KIA the dome and rear gate light have switches on the light assemblies themselves for on/off all time/on with door. Check to see if you have same. Also, there may be another "dash" switch, typically on the dash dimmer switch which may be turned all the way from dim to off. Check your dash dimmer switch. Relays are typically in a fuse box under the hood.

Has anyone bothered to run a computer control module fault code test? That is the very first thing a tech would do. Wiggling wires is likely no the issue here as you found out.

Registration is required... as these are real drawings. If you want to save money... and time... check around for a FREE DIAGNOSTIC reads... Muffler-shops, service station and AUTO-PARTS houses (AUTOZONE?). Keep in mind... If your OXYGEN SENSORS are REPORTING any issues... NEW OXYGENS SENSORS will likely ALSO report the same trouble(s). That fuse circuit goes hot with the key on, shouldn't have voltage before you turn the key on. The fuse circuit sends voltage to several circuits, one of which is the front blower relay. No it won't the tire generation is from a 1996-2000 the fourth Gen is from 2001-2007 so it had slight body changes to it.

Should be mounted in bell-housing at rear of engine. Three wire connector, wire colors, orange--black--gray, the last two has tracer colors, I don't think that is important.

Timing is controlled by computer and is set automatically you have to have a scanner.Why do you think the timing is off?

Yes you can do it at home but it will be at least a 2 day ordeal, it is very difficult to work on. You will need to under the vehicle to disconnect the exhaust and other parts.

You can't. You have to get the hatch open. Pull the top trim off the hatch. Remove two screws , one on each side. Pull the bottom panel out and reach down and grab the rod or arm to open the hatch. Then you can access the screws to remove the rear lens. Fix the hatch since it is open.

well I guess one could replace the entire harness , but what I have done is replace the connector ends that attach to transmission , they get old an crack allowing water to enter (splash) and mess up the signals going thru it , its all up to your service guy , and how much time he wants to spend on it , I will say it takes a bit of time to splice all them wires correctly (waterproof like) so it might be less time to replace harness , I don't know ????

Careful, on a car when that petcock is clogged or to tight (crossthreaded) I drain by opening the lower radiator hose slightly.

It may not be getting air to the intake check your air filter or it can also be the cat check out the tail pipe and make sure the exhaust is coming out strong..
