Was the fuel sending unit replaced also?

This van is listed as a 1997 caravan the main computer, the pcm, powertrain control module is located on the left fender sheild. here is a diagram picture to help you. good day

HelloThis engine and the transmission in this car are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM or TCM for the transmission, when problems like this occur fault code or codes are set in the PCM/TCM memory. What must be done now is to have the memory read to retrieve this fault code. This is called a system scan, the system is called the OBD2 electronic engine control system. Based on the results of the fault codes you perform diagnostics and repair the problem, that can be a sensor, wiring or even in rare cases the PCM/TCM has failed.

Lets look at the easy stuff first.

1. check all connections(Battery and starter)2. Starter contacts could be worn ( find online, dealer wont sell these)

Temperature sensor is not good.,is be side coolant sensor.

I own a 97 dodge caravan and the belt is quite easy but a little awkward because the belt tensioner is not something you see. All you need to do though is loosen the belt tensioner to the belt and put the belt on. Afterwards, tighten the tensioner until there is only slight slack in the belt.Note that you have 2 belts and there are 2 tensioners.

Yes it is probably the charger. If the system works with just the battery in the circuit, it would eliminate the majority of the wiring. The problem could still be wiring, but between the charger and the battery. Check all the connections before you go changing anything.

Don't know about 999 but the flashing light could be misfire, a clogged cat, cracked head. Take it and get the codes off of it. Last time I saw this on a dodge it was a cracked cylinder head#5 I believe.

Not much we can do from this end.You may have to remove the tank to inspect it and the hose.

Did you check for power at the wiper motor coming from the switch before you replaced it ?

Make sure the bearings are good in the belt tensioner and idler pulley and that they all line up best. Use a quality belt and follow belt diagram

go to auto zone they will tell you what is that code.
