Broken sun visor
The sunvisor is attached to the roof with 3 screws on the outboard end of the visor (towards the door). Once you removed these 3 phillips head screws and pull the attaching bracket down, there may be an electrical connector you will need to unplug. This is not a difficult job.

Throttle position sensor
Did you buy a universal TPS? The one that you removed should have had to round screw holes. Did the new replacement have two round holes as well? If the two screw holes are slotted then you will need to adjust it. Without a scan-tool (to look at like data) it will take longer to adjust. Slide the TPS sensor into place and turn it until the spring and cam wheel starts to move. At this point STOP and tighten the screws. Start the car and test the operation of the sensor. You may need to fine tune the adjustment, be patient. Comparing the performance of the old sensor, to the new one. Is it better or worse then it was. Took the battery out to replace the fron left
does this car have an aftermarket alarm system? it sounds like it does, as i dont ever recall seeing a blue flashing light in one of these cars. do you have an alarm / auto start remote control? try locking / unlocking the car several times with the remote, if it has a remote start try starting it with the remote a few times. try locking / unlocking the car with the key. good luck!
Misfiring
possible coil or injector try to isolate the clylider and switch the coils and see if it changes cylinders also it is possible that it could have a blown head gskt if that is the case you would need to remove plugs and pressure test the system and look into the cylinders for evidence of antifreeze in them most of the time on those it would be cyl 3
