Changed throttle position sensor and lost the aux
Try unhooking the positive battery cable for about ten minutes. This will reset the cpu and place it into limp mode. As you drive the computer relearns your driving habit and chances are you will never notice the difference. often when electronic parts are changed the computer does not recognize the new part, but will on reboot.
Are there vacuum hose on the brakes hydraulic system?
NO. the vacuum is used to make the brake pedal easy to push, power brakes. the pedal would be hard without vacuum, that is why the pedal gets hard with the key off and engine not running. the problem you are having is more of a hydraulic problem.Have the brakes checked asap. the brake system may have a leak causing the pedal to go low. check the fluid level and if it is low or empty then there is a problem, could be a rotted brake line leaking or a wheel cylinder leaking.
Ignition control mogule
I think the module is under the dash on the passenger side behindthe kick panel in front of the door.
Can the timing belt be put on backwards
Belts aren't made like that. A new belt doesn't have a right and wrong way, it just goes on. But once it has been installed and run, then you don't want to take it off and reverse it-always put a used belt on to run the same way as it was taken off. So unless it was a used belt, no it can't be put on backward.
Backfiries on acceleration
This can be the result of various problems that lead to your fuel mixture being to rich, however a common one for late 90's model vehicles would be a bad O2 sensor, this is also a problem that typically doesn't set off your check engine light but is reported to your cars computer. Best advice would be to take it to the nearest auto-part store such as Autozone and have them check your cars for any reported OBD2 codes, this is a service most part stores provide for free and will give you a good place to start.
My mondeo st24 r rweg
Could be a number of problems:
1: Faulty starter motor (brushes perhaps) or ignition wire to it fallen/broken off
2: Faulty relay
3: If it is an automatic there might be a wire off by the gear change consul
4: Faulty ignition key.
Check in the order and please get back if this has solved it
Thank you
