Hi:

Hi sounds like your front rotors are warped. Do you feel it on one side or both? Your brake booster may not working properly or doesn't get enough vacuum. That make the brakes drag a little bit and in a long run will make the rotor warpe. Check front callipers if they not seized first , mesure vacuum. If it's ok you have to replace front rotors and pads

1994 f350 standard cab 4x4 460 5-speed, intermittent starting issue. sometimes when i turn the key, i get nothing. i cycle the switch a few times, and might get lucky and the truck will start.

Do you hear a click when it will not start from the engine area? If so the starter solenoid is defective at the starter motor.

7.3L crank no start, fuel bowl full, tach. moves while cranking, no smoke white or otherwise, cranks similar speed as 95 7.3L

Did you try giving it a shot of ether? if it starts on ether, then I'd look at your injector control module or the wiring to the injectors.

How do i take out my ignition key lock cylinder

There is a pin in the lock cylinder that needs to be depressed to release the cylinder from its bore. The only problem is the cylinder needs to be able to be turned in order for the pin to be depressed. There will be a small hole either on the top or bottom of the cylinder for inserting a small pick to push the pin for cylinder release. If the cylinder will not turn, the pin cannot be released for removal.

Where is the voltage regulator

voltage regulators are either in the back of the alternator or a separate unit on the fire wall. Follow the wires back from the alternator to find it.

Where is the voltage regulator located

It is inside the alternator. You have the larger wire to the B+ terminal on the alternator-this is the alternator output. The other wires to the alternator go to the voltage regulator.

How will towing a new 5th Wheel with 1994 7.3L IDI (non powerstroke) Turbo Diesel be?

You have plenty of truck to tow that thing around. I would have the 20 year old tranny serviced and ask the transmission shop if its going to hold up to the pressure.

How much life in my pre-powerstroke Turbo?

The turbochargers usually wear out from lack of oil changes and early shutdown after a long hill pull. But easy to see faults oil leaks at turbo inlet to intake. remove pressure intake hose and view with flashlight if you see oil then the seals are leaking or mash down on throttle real fast and let up 3-5 times in a row if blue smoke comes from exhaust start saving your money it is ready soon.

94 F-150 4x4 e4od Strange shifting.

That's what I said about my Mustang Gt when the tranny went out on it, it sat for 5 years until I finally sold it. I started looking for a replacement tranny for it before I decided to sell it and found a few on ebay for a reasonable price Shipped and Guaranteed for around $1500, beats breaking open the old one then sorting through whats good and bad, kits cost $500 alone. Then doing the rebuild and hoping it's all good with no guarantees on if it will or how long it may last. Not to mention the mess and time and frustration of taking on the task. Just removing it will change your mind on doing a rebuild. That always seems to be enough work by it's self, having the other tranny right there to put in will make it a 1 day task. No parts to loose or find out that they don't fit or the case needs to be machined, many things come to mind.
