I want to remove the radio. I have the pull out tools, but when I try to pull them, the radio won't come out. Do I have to remove the dash trim around it? If so, do they just snap out if I pry it?
remove the trim around the radio face be careful not to break it, it should snap off its a delicate proceedure take radio face plate off ( if equipped) radio should come out

I was driving home a few days ago. I was roughly 0.5 mile from home and in the left turn lane. I gave the left turn signal and looked at the dash. As I was turning, I noticed the Air Bag Warning Light, the Brake Warning Light, & the ABS Warning Light come on. I went through the intersection and the brakes still worked, so I continued to drive home. As I left the intersection, the signal arm cancelled but the signal light itself continued to flash (this eventually caused the alarm bell to come on). I limped on home. It had been misting / raining and I had the headlights on, but no wipers. After I got home, the Air Bag Light, the Brake Light, & the ABS Light had continued to stay on and the signal light was still on. In an effort to get the warning lights to go off, I turned the car off and the Air Bag Light, the Brake Light, & the ABS Light and the signal light went off. However, the headlights were still on. I went in my house and got a wrench. I unhooked the battery and the headlights went off. I repeated the trip through the neighborhood today and drove approx 0.5 mile round trip. It is even worse. When I first started the van, there were no warning lights on -- then after about 0.25 mile, the Air Bag Light, the Brake Light, & the ABS Light came on. But after about another 0.25 mile the car started running roughly and the motor died. I had packed a spare battery and I jumped myself. It made it the 0.25 miles back to my driveway. The check engine light has NOT come on through this ordeal. Car has approx 61,000 miles.
Any ideas?
Check and see if your alternator is charging
Low voltage will cause those lights to come on, as the computer is shutting down.
To check your alternator you will need a volt meter... WITH the engine running you should have about 14 volts coming out. IF NOT you need to replace the Alternator!

The power window on my 2003 Ford Windstar works only sometimes(few times I have to bang the door). how do i repair this problem.
I have the same issue, but mine got a little worse as time went on. I got a new motor for and when I took the door apart I had to lower the window. so I had to plug the switches back in, and what do you know it started working. so I tested for 15 mins stiaght and it statred working every time I pushed the button. So, I would try that first before you spend over $70 dollars just for the part.

ford windstar cranks but wont start
Could be a number of things. First check to see if you have spark. Then check your fuse and the fuel pump relay.Listen to see if the fuel pump is working you should hear a steady hum when you turn the key to the on position.

What is the difference between an ECM and a BCM? Does a BCM have to be flashed?
The ECM (Electronic control module) runs the engine and the emission control system, the BCM (Body control module) operates most electrical body functions like wipers and interior lights and power windows and door locks plus the security system in may cases, the ECM (on this car now known as the PCM since 1996 by federal mandate) can be flashed, which just a reprogramming of the EPROM chip

It is one of the relays in the fuse box in the engine comp.
Check this fixya question for diagrams:

I'm pretty sure 2001-2003 use the same fuse box.
2003 Windstars only came with 3.8L engines
I believe you are looking for fuse #5 and relay #207
