Heater will not blow hot air
The water inlet valve may not be letting water in, the heater core and hoses may be plugged or the engine thermostat may be stuck open. These are the things to check under the hood. The mix door may be letting cold air inside to mix with hot air from the heater.

What causes my van to keep stalling
Have you changed the fuel filter? Possibly restricted. Check engine light on? Scan for codes that may pertain to this issue. Possible throttle position sensor or throttle actuator.

My electric system is shorting out you can be driving and everything just goes out please help.
you might want to have your local ford dealer have a look at this one , seems that ford had a recall on this problem a while back ( I don't know if its still valid) as they admitted that the fuse block connector on the firewall (just above the steering wheel shaft) has a defect in the gasket that seals out water from getting in there and corroding things up , I only remember this as about five years ago I had one come thru here for this same complaint and it was repaired under a recall warranty by ford

3.8l. Where is crankshaft position sensor located?
Here is a drawing and description of the location:
he CKP sensor, located on the engine front cover near the crankshaft pulley, is used to determine crankshaft position and crankshaft rpm. The sensor is a magnetic reluctance type which senses the passing of teeth on a tone wheel because the teeth disrupt the magnetic field of the sensor. This disruption creates a voltage fluctuation, which is monitored by the PCM.

What problems do the 2003 Ford Windstars have?
transmission failure is the most common issue with the 03 windstar. The average miles is 210,000 so if you are looking to purchase one suggest avoiding anything over 150k is this is a very costly repair around $2,500. My cousin had an 01 that she purchased in 2012, it was beautiful inside and out, unfortunately when the head gasket failed she couldnt find a repair shop in our area willing to do the work, you may want to make sure you have a shop in your area willing to work on the vehicle, No sense in buying something you cant get fixed if it breaks down.
