Hey John, did it start with a jump ? what about starter relay and selonoid

go to 2002 ford f150 owners manual and download it free from ford then go inside the manual to road side emergencies the fuse diagrams for the passenger and power distribution box are there and so is the fuse location also check for fuel inertia switch in case you got hit and press the reset button in and the car will start again

In the wiper motor

Check to see is your brake lights are coming on when you press the pedal if they do not come on your brake light switch is bad or the fuse for the brake lights is blown

broken wiring or loose connection somewhere in circuit

More than likely it's a problem with the wiring. Check the wiring diagram for the trailer again and make sure the wiring is correct. The dash has to come out to replace. About a 7 hour job.

I just unplugged the sensor on my left front wheel and placed a piece of tape over the abs light.

When I bought my truck (2001 F150) the relays for the trailer lights were missing. Check their locations. Relays are available at auto parts stores

Start with the switch, does the power from the switch start and stop when pushing the button? Does the switch have power? If both are "yes" then it is a wiring problem from the switch to the converter. It may or may not go directly to the transmission, it may go thru the computer first, not sure. You do have an OBD plugin, go to AutoZone and have them check for any codes.

When you say you washed the interior, are you speaking of the cab or under the hood?

Windows are usually the connection in the door where the harness connects to the window motor.

It doesn't have a relay. Does have a fuse though. And it has a module built into the wiper motor. I have never replaced the switch for these. Mostly motors.

First is turn the steering wheel a little when trying to get it out of park. All Fords do it. The wheel is cocked a little and won't release the Shifter. Second, check to see if you have brake lights. No lights , the switch is bad, replace it, it controls the release.. Third would be the switch in the column. I have not yet had to replace one of these.

Check your owner's manual and follow the procedure to the letter. You have to be moving the correct speed and may have to pop the trans into neutral before it will engage 4x4, read your manual. If it acts as if it is frozen in place (the stick) maybe the linkage rusted up. Do you live on the ocean or where they salt the roads and rarely use 4x4?
