2006 Ford Econoline Cutaway Questions & Answers
I have a 2006 Ford E350 passenger van with
it will not show a code ,whats wrong is either a wheel sensor or the toothed gear is loose on the drive shaft ,but newer fords do not use a toothed gear but a gray sort of paint on the bearing path which can get rubbed off with a piece of string getting wrapped around the drive shaft ,also i think you will find that they are now encrypting the software as well in line with the europeon market vehicles so as to make it a dealer only job .Try coming to europe for a holiday and bring your snap on scanner for a laugh and plug it into any europeon build for home market vehicle .If your lucky you may get the chassis number ,show it to any mecahnic in any garage in europe and they will tell you where the rubbish bin is to throw it in .

I need a fuse diagram/layout
Here's a solution that will help in the future. If you look at the fuse(s) they have two small exposed metal tabs. You can get a $5.00 test light and ground it. turn the key on and probe each tab. That's what they're there for. As I said, with the key on, probe each side of the fuse in the fuse block. Both tabs on each fuse should light the light. That means there's current passing through it. If only one side lights it then the fuse is blown and current isn't passing through it to operate accessory. I hope that helps. If so, please rate my assistance and leave a testimonial. Thanks for using Fixya.

How do you remove the
It should just screw off. You'll have to hold the part you plug into from turning while you turn the back part off.

How to replace the spark
MOST VANS HAVE A HUMP INBETWEEN THE SEATS UNDER THE DASH! THERE SHOULD BE A LATCH ON EACH SIDE OF THIS HUMP, THAT WILL LET YOU GAIN ACCESS TO THE ENGINE FROM INSIDE THE VAN! FROM THERE YOU CAN REPLACE THE PLUGS!

2006 Ford E350 disk brakes
Using the C-Clamp is the proper way to retract the pistons. So it wasn`t your fault for the aABS light.
check the brake fluid level, check the wheel speed sensors connection on all 4 wheels,
Drive vehicle for a few miles too see if the ABS resets itself.
If the light is still on, then have the truck checked with a SCANNER for the ABS problem..
