HI Guys This problem is continued from the other
you need to set the idle pin. there is a stopper on the throttle you need to screw it back. as it has never been used therefore it has never been set. screw it back until it is at the right revs then lock it off.

I agree, jumped timing. Check to make sure the dist is tight. Than check for tdc on the #1 cylinder. When the #1 cyl is TDC the rotor should be pointing to that wire on the cap. Take the cap off while checking. Also is easier to turn motor by hand without plugs in motor.

The 1966 Mustang convertible starts if jumped but
Check the battery voltage, it should be 13.5V if it's fully charged. Charge it up if it's not and then try. When you have the car running check the alternater output to make sure it is properly charging the battery. This should also be about 13.5V.It would also be a very good idea to make sure all your cable ends are bare shiny metal and fastened tight. It's also possible you power cable to the starter is bad, or the ground strap from the engine.I have occasionally seen where this has been caused by a faulty solenoid on the fender. If that is the case, then you should be able to short across it and start the engine.

My rear quarter window slides freely up and down
The window regulator is in need of inspection or replacement. the gear on the knob assembly is not contacting the window gear, therefor it will not operate the window from the knob while cranking.
