How much torque to tighten the yoke retainer nut on a 1966 Ford Mustang 8 differential?
I'm assuming you set the ring and pinion up properly. With Ford's there is a crushed ring you should use a new one, tight the pinion nut until there is a slight drag. If it's too tight the bearing will heat up, if it's to lose it will wobble.Ideally the nut should be tightened with no seal in it and out of the carrier, to provide a resistance while turning of 20-25 inch pounds using an inch tork wrench. When you do a final assembly use loctite on and nut. If you need more information there are youtube videos available. Good luck.

I need a repair manual for a 1971 classic mustang,
It really depends on the extent of repairs you think you will be doing. A Haynes manual will allow you to do more common repairs along with little tips and tricks that have been learned over the years. It should cost about $20. Going to faxonautoliterature will get you the original Ford shop manual for the car for $69. It will give you precise instructions for virtually everything. It will also have a complete wiring diagram for the car and specifications for various components that will allow you to focus on and repair a problem more quickly and exactly. Both assume you have some familiarity with mechanics but Haynes is more so. In my opinion you are more likely to run into problems that won't be covered in Haynes because your car has been on the road long enough that parts that wouldn't normally have to be fixed will have to be.I'd get them both. Hope this helps.

Does 1966 mustang 289 have self adjusting valves?
If it's a "K" code hi-po 289, then it has solid lifters and the valve clearance is adjustable. If a standard 289, then it has hydraulic lifters which are zero clearance and self adjusting, i.e. there is no adjusting screw on the rocker arm.

Leaking at the bottom of the front windshield, how
If this is a classic Mustang, why would you want a cheap repair? The windshield should be removed, any rust repaired and using new gaskets install the windshield. Do it right and you'll do it once, do it on the cheap and do it several times.
