Sounds like a short some place. Electrical, intermittent problems are hard to detect. Process of elimination.

most likley the fuel heater is bad and shorting out happend to me replace the heater

The cigarette fuse is located in the battery junction box under the hood, it is fuse # 10 and is a 20A fuse, open the hood and find the box it is on the passenger side towards the back of the compartment, it is 10th in line on the top row, also you can check these fuses without removing them through the clear plastic top so that should make things a little easier too, hope this helps

05 Sable door won't shut in cold weather

Have you checked the glowplug relay.

The starter solenoid is binding? Is this a new install? Did you use shim kit? If it is old then just replace the whole starter. (YOU WILL NOT able find a replacement return spring easily)

Use a bottle of yellow HEET dry gas to remove any moisture problem in the fuel. Clean / replace air filter. Check ATF at level ground. Top off to MAX level.
