did you get the correct matching computer??was it running when it went in??did you dry the complete car for a week in a heated area??change oil,antifreeze and tranny and brake fluid?its a 16 year old car,if you spend more than 1000 it is not worth fixing and should just sell it for scrap,submerging a car is the worst thing you could do,it shouldve been totalled on your insurance,even if you do get it running,you will always have problems

Get a second or third opinion. It may be time to ask AAA to help.

No crank means dead battery, jump it or get a new battery. If your battery was not dead and you didn't get fuel or it did not start you would get a cranking noise and no starting

Very likely you have an internal problem in the instrument panel itself.

Replace radiator cap , it's weak an not letting system build to normal pressure . Air in system !

The stereo pin layout can be obtained from the car dealership, also a repair manual should have the stereo wiring harness layout in it , the stereo harness adapter for installing non oem stereo, found at the local auto parts store will come with the wiring layout, wires are color coded too, sometimes the stereo harness or stereo harness adapter will have small writing on the wires itself, showing you what that wire is for, and where it should connect. Basically it comes down to, obtaining the stereo wiring layout, read the description on the wires, and properly connect them together, then solder the wires or crimp them, I like to solder mine with soldering wire for electronics, and put shrink tubes to protect the wires, put the shrink tubes on the wires before soldering together, and ensure the shrink tube is the proper size awg wire gauge. You will also need, aftermarket face adapter kit and antenna adapter, if installing aftermarket stereo. Hope this helps and enjoy the stereo :)

Scan the vehicle for fault codes first. Sounds like you need to check the vehicle speed sensor signal into the speedometer. If that is ok then send the speedo head out for repair.

Have the reverse switch checked

yes the fast blinking theft light indicates that theft mode is activated. you wont be able to start the vehicle until you have the keys reprogrammed at your local ford dealer.

If you are hearing the clicking from the power window relay the only things left would be a break in a wire or a failed window lift motor. If this window only goes down but not up I would inspect the wiring at the door jamb for a damaged wire. If this fails to go either way I would remove the panel, insert test light into the lift motor leads (X2)and actuate the switch, if I get power then I would replace the lift motor. If you get no power in one direction - test switch.

As long as you keep check on the coolant level and listen to the car. You'll be OK. The sensor cost about $20 and aren't hard to replace. But like Ray said. It doesn't take to long to overheat and trash an engine. Especially one with high miles on it.

You need to get the engine computer checked for trouble codes. Anytime the light comes on a code should set. Most auto parts stores will scan for free in hopes of selling you some parts. The code or codes will tell you what to check, not what to replace.

It may or may not have abs. Generally an easy way to tell is when u first turn the key on all the dash lights should come on. If you see an abs light for a few seconds you will know it has abs.

You probably have some loose connections at the Heater switch. Radio and other devices may connect at the same location. There may also be broken wires although rare. Since everything is behind the dash you will need a good light and inspection mirror. Another way is a fiber optic camera or perhaps a small digital camera linked to a laptop.

It has been years since had to replace pcm but you can go to Ford F150.net, instructions for program a new PATS key and follow the steps. Instructions cross over for other FORD vehicles as well.

pull the positive wire off the batt and hold it to the negative for 30 sec then replace the wire on positive side and tighten

Hi Linda well lets see here I/we here all need to know exactly where you see it leaking is it running down from the top or strictly on the bottom if it's running down it could be your manifold seal that has sprung a leak please post back with a little more info here and we will get to it this statement you made is to vague for cars

It depends on where the leak is. If it's a loose hose clamp, Nothing as long as you have a screw driver. If it's the radiator and you are mechanically inclined, about $200 for the part and 1 to 2 hours of your time. If it's the water pump, about $150. If you have to pay someone else to do it then probably triple those numbers.
