If you didn't replace the throwout bearing it could be making the noise.

Try having your battery checked. I had a new Lincoln which did the same thing. When the battery shorted, it would trigger the Alarm. This went on for a few weeks until diagnosed.

Have you checked the U-joints in the front axle for the 4X4? If those U-joints are are tying up they will affect the steering. Good luck!

just hit with a dead blow hammer...or a piece of wood and a big hammer til i can get something to pry it apart

Try checking around the the brake pedal, check for the connection that goes from the alarm to the brake switch. Some times they become loose if its not a proper connection .
