Windshield wipers, heater blower fan & power windows just stopped

Replaced the ignition switch, the circuit breaker in the ignition switch wears out, the ignition switch powers the fuse box. You can get a new ignition switch from napa for $128.00 do not get it from the dealer, they sell it as a kit with door locks as well so that the key matches, and then you are lookin at $249.00. Unhook the steering column and drop it so you can drill out the ignition switch assembly, that is a short cut so you do not have to pull the entire steering wheel off. Consolo Automotive

94fordescortcode214engine light is intermittent

Engine Code 214 is Cylinder Identification Circuit failure. Since it is intermittent check to connector to the camshaft position sensor and make sure its a tight connection and there's no corrosion. If that doesn't fix it the CID may be bad. The Cylinder ID (CID) sensor provides crankshaft position information to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The PCM uses this information during engine start up to begin sequential fuel injection at the correct time. The CID is located in the back of the cylinder head on the distributor side of the engine.Hope that helps.
