LIGHTS WORK & EVERYTHING BUT WHEN I TURN KEY MOTOR SOUNDS LIKE -TIC-TIC-TIC-TIC-TIC-TIC-TIC-TIC WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY CAR GURU?
Check the voltage on your battery. When the battery is low, you will still have lights and what not but not enough juice to start the car. Check the condition of your battery cables especially your ground. If everything check out fine, your problem may be a bad starter or the solenoid. If you replace the starter, replace the solenoid with it. Be sure to check the cable from the starter solenoid to the starter.

Shifts hard from 1st to 2nd gear. Jerks under hard acceleration. It seems to slip and shake if I accelerate to hard in any gear. Replaced filter and fluid. All mounts seem to be fine. 3.0 V6, 17bolts on transmission pan.
thottle positioning sensor? if trans has overdrive could be a lock up piece, dont remember name of it. there is a lucas oil product that might help. if it is the overdrive.

It surges at idle and stumbles under mild acceleration. At high acceleration and at highway speed it is less noticeable but still present.
I have replaced the EGR valve, the distributor, cap, rotor, plugs, some vacuum lines. All this is accompanied by a noise that sounds like a glazed belt, but doesn't vary much with the RPM(yes, the belt is new too, and the Ignition control module.)
I'm thinking possibly fuel pump, filter, or injector.
Has anybody had these symptoms, I'm ready to tear my hair out!!!
I want u to clean the air intake valve and idle speed control valve, follow the procedure below.
Here are the common cause of surges, cold stalls, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.
let me know in a few days if this helps.
