1988 Ford Econoline E-350. Where is the engine computer located on on it please?

Question edited for clarity. @Randall Andre. It wasn't answered because of the way the question was written back to front. Generally 14 year old questions don't get answered. Yes, cracked manifold can let oxygen in, which tells the pcm to enrich the mixture. You are probably running rich. Really bad for gas mileage too. Replace the manifold.

1990 f-350 w/351m. loose oil press after runs short time. r&r'd new oil pmp & p.u. screen ttl clean short time ago. wen press drops, lftrs clack. any ideas b4 I drop pan again. thnx 4 ur help --- Ed.

It sound like a bearing issue. I would recommend checking oil pressure. This should be done both cold and hot. Allow engine to cool over night, you can get an inexpensive oil pressure tester at most parts stores. Remove the oil pressure sender near the oil filter. Attach the oil pressure tester to this port. Start and run engine. Cold oil pressure should ideally be around 40psi, with hot oil pressure around 20. If the pressure drops significantly or never really is satisfactory this may indicate a larger issue. It could have a bad or restricted oil filter. It could also have excessive clearance on the bearings, indicating wear and the need for new bearings.

What could make a 1990 5.0 lose fire

Most likely the IGN Module in the Distributer.. it is the thing that the wires are attached to under the distributer, usually gray in color.. could be the coil, could be not getting a 12v single from the ign switch to the coil.

D it dies out and hard to start again

It could well be the fuel pump. Or maybe a fuel filter. Replace the filter if easily accessible. Even if it is not easily accessible, you can get a gauge to check for sufficient fuel pressure. You will be working with gas at that point. Unless you are experienced working on cars and for your own safety, get a reputable mechanic to check the pressure.

90 ford f-350 headlights and overdrive doesn't turn off and rpm guage stopped working, this everything happened same time, what it can be,i think may be its pcm,is anybody know about this problem?

Hello,Yes--the main computer is a possible culprit. You can really tell if the symptoms change from one time you start the vehicle to the next. e.g.-black smoke out the tail pipe. I had a computer problem once--I unplugged the water temp sensor and drove it--after a quarter mile it died and would not start. Weird things were happening like when driving at a steady speed there would be hesitations as if I were playing with the accelerator.I hope this helps.
