Engine misfire warm
Hi Brian, I'm glad to help! First, when the engine shuts down you need to know if its loosing FUEL or if its NOT FIRING. This will send you in the right direction of diagnosing the problem, BECAUSE: It could be anything from a Shut-Down-Relay, a Bad Fuel Pump, a Engine Control Module, a Crank or Cam Sensor to various other things. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Brian.
Ignition key problems

Have to do some testing, as always,
just to find any problem
Check eng. light on. P0601 code What can I do?
A code P0601 in most cases means the PCM has gone bad. This is possibly due to a short-circuit inside the PCM. Or, if you disconnect the wires/connector from the PCM while the battery is still connected, that may also cause this code. the most common fix is to replace and reprogram the PCM. In a few cases the dealer may be able to reflash the PCM and get it working. But more than likely the PCM will need to be replaced and reprogrammed dealership for this). The good news is it *may* be covered under your emmissions warranty. good-day!
Transmission solenoid
I think that you have been getting the "bums rush" from the transmission rebuilder.. There is always oil in the gears as there is oil continuously being splashed around so burning gears is out unless you have a band /clutch slipping problem. Always run the fault codes to see if there are electronic problems and have a pressure test done to check for internal mechanical problems I advise that you find an accredited auto transmission shop that repairs your transmission and get a second opinion before you spend another dollar.
