I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with a Hemi alot of people are telling me a Dodge ram with the hemi cant have a plow because its built for speed not power. Or that it will void the warranty. Is there any truth to either of these??
Yes It can and It should not void the warranty. Contact your dealer.

Recently, i had two trouble codes come up on my truck. One was for the governor's sensor and the TCC (torque converter clutch). I took my truck to an auto repair shop and was told that i needed to replace the gov. sensor and the gov. solenoid, so i did. Two days later the check engine light came on again with a code of a P1740, (TCC). What is the problem now? I was told that the there is 2 torque converter solenoids but was also told that there is only one that contains the TCC/o/d lock out all in one. Can you please clarify this for me. Thanks, kim
There is one solenoid assy with two solenoids on it. One for the TCC and other for OD. in my experience, P1740 is caused by a couple of things. The torque converters are a subject of trouble for one - I always replace them - the other are the input sealing rings on the input shaft. Older designs leak pressure. Always replace with the plastic - **** end type which is the update today. P1740 has nothing to with the governor solenoid or sensor

Our 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 kept stalling while driving but would start right back up. Did this about once a week or so until it stalled again on a major highway and would not start at all. I've been given several solutions (Fuel pump and Alternator etc.) Also, Light's flickered off and on when driving at night occasionally. Don't know if they are related at all. Also been told that to replace a clogged fuel filter, we have to replace the whole fuel assembly (fuel tank, pump, and filter) Is this true? Because the part is really expensive. If anyone has ideas, I would appreciate it.
First off you can test the fuel pump 2 ways
1.have a assistant turn on the ign to on while you listen for the pump to run at the gas cap (gas cap off).
2.find the valve on the fuel rail looks like a a/c or valve stem, take the cap off and press the needle and if fuel comes out then it's not the fuel pump.
But from a lot of EXPERIANCE on dodge engines the stalling and restarting issue is ignition related i.e crank or cam sensor which will throw a diagnostic code of engine misfire xxx cylinders.
So If its one of those sensors then you will not have any spark, and staring fluids will not fire the engine.
As for the headlights flickering they get there power through a relay straight from the battery,so I would look at the relays under the hood and find the one for the headlights and swap it out with the horn relay as most of the relays will have the same numbers.
The crank sensor is about 70.00 and the cam sensor is about 50.
depending on where you get them (dealer or aftermarket)
the cam sensor is the round plastic thing under the dist cap,and the crank sensor is on the pass side under the head into the top of the transmission bell housing and it's a 2hr job to change because of it's location is really hard to get to.
Hint -take the breather off and place a rag over the intake and a board from the radiator core support to the intake to lay on,it has 2 10mm bolts and the wiring harness unplugs from underneath.

We've replaced the relay switch & bought new headlights- yet the headlights still won't work. Anybody out there have an idea where we can get a free diagram for the schematics?I have the same problem. No head lights or high beams. I replaced switch and lights with no luck.
Here's a link to a pdf file containing the headlight wiring diagram for your year model Dodge Ram 1500..
I can't help but notice that you say you've replaced the headlight relay? That's quite odd, because there is NO headlight relay on this vehicle- only a 40 amp fuse located in the power distribution box that sits behind the battery inside the engine bay.
The switch is notorious for burning out because there is NO RELAY on this vehicle, and there is a recall (#819) but this only affects 3500 models even though the headlight wiring is the same for 1500,2500 and 3500 model Rams.
Here are two more links that will help you troubleshoot your headlights problems.

Welcome to Fixya
P0743 means Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit. Possible causes would be faulty torque converter clutch solenoid valve, torque converter clutch solenoid valve harness or connectors, torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted, low transmission fluid level and dirty transmission fluid. Could be a problem to the harness to the TCC solenoid, the TCC solenoid connector or the TCC solenoid it self.
P0753 means 3-4 Shift Solenoid Relay. Possible causes would be a faulty shift solenoid valve,
shift solenoid valve harness or connectors, shift solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted, low transmission fluid level and dirty transmission fluid. The ECM has detected an open or shorted condition on the relay circuit.
