A 1980s dodge 2.5 liter engine did spark plugs,

This car has a carburetor doesn't it? So when you remove the air filter there is two or four barrel carb. This looks like a moving valve that opens and closes under the air filter. Commonly its a round filter with a metal lid that has a single little screw (Depending on the car). This is normal with a carburetor. Sometimes people have to use starting fluid to spray in them before they turn the car on when they get old. I'm not an expert on carburetors but I believe there is a way to adjust the air/fuel mixture because some times they idle to high or low. Its usually a screw under the air filter on the carb. I would get a repair manual from a auto parts place and read it on how to adjust this before attempting and if your unsure of what you are doing, then don't do it. If its not broke then don't screw with it. If you have a friend who is knowledgable, ask them for some pointers. I have only dealt with a few carbs in my few 30 years and it was on scooters and lawn mowers and my brothers old Buick century. I learned that screwing with the idle speed and setting it to high or low on a carburetor can significantly affect the car. Newer cars have sensors and can tolerate some tinkering but older cars don't have this so if you turn it too high, you can cause the transmission to go into drive at a high RPM and destroy it. Too low and the car will stall or not start. Again, im no expert so if I were you, I would research it and perhaps watch some youtube clips on carbs before jumping into it. Besides, if its really old the carb may need to have the seals replaced (Rebuilding the carb). This entails removing the carb, getting the gasket kit and taking it apart, refitting with new gaskets and putting back together. Again, only do this if you know what you are doing and determined its necessary. Cheers.

I need to replace a bulb for a 1985 dodge lancer front side marker,on fender, how does that come out?

Look on the underside of the marker inside the fender. It should have a pull-out type electrical socket with the bulb in it. Or maybe one of those sockets that you turn counterclockwise for about a quarter of a turn, and then pull out. Take the old bulb with you for replacement.

I hae a 2016 Dodge Charger with police package.... when i shut car off screen that says push to start does not shut off. Any Ideas?

A few possibilities: Key FOB Proximity: If the key FOB is near the vehicle, the "Push to Start" screen might stay on. Door Sensor: If the vehicle's door sensor is malfunctioning or if the doors are not properly closed, it could cause the screen to stay on. Battery Issues: If there's an issue with the vehicle's battery or the battery of the key FOB, it could potentially cause this problem. It's also worth noting that some users have reported similar issues with their vehicles and have found success in disregarding the prompts asking to turn off/turn on the car You may have to go to a professional mechanic to get this properly diagnosed. That said, here is the service manual: https://cardiagn.com/dodge-charger-2015-2018-service-manual-wiring-diagrams/

1992 Dodge Caravan. I have a sound like a shock absorber which occurs when I turn left?

Shock Absorbers are easy to test. Put your hand on the front of the vehicle on each side and press down and up hard and see if the body bounces. It should be hard to press down and come back up slowly and controlled. It could also be the springs, the upper mounting rusted away, worn ball joints, steering tie rod joints or CV Axle universal joints. All those need testing professionally on a lift. It is 32 years old after all. ..

How do you loosen and tighten the belt on a 1992 Dodge Dynasty 3.3 engine with ac?

Are you referring to the Auxillary (Fan) belt? These usually have a spring loaded tensioner arm with an idler pulley attached to it. This usually controls the tightness of the belt when the engine is running. They are commonly held on with a single bolt. In most cases if the belt has gone slack this tensioner has failed and will need replacing. You will need to remove the belt before you can do this especially if you want to keep the skin on your knuckles. Yes, I've done that!. It's also worth replacing the belt as well while your in there then you know it's good. **NOTE** Make a drawing or take photos of the route the belt uses BEFORE you take it off.
