recheck wiring on radio

Could be one of the following no power coming into the coil or no signal from crank sensor. The vehicle I just got done working on is a 97 caravan with no spark because of no signal from crank sensor

I'd check to see if the catalytic converter is clogged. It can definitely cause those symptoms and it's pretty old if it has never been changed! You would have to take it to a shop to have it tested though because it isn't easily done without special equipment.

hi no it does not have a reset button first check if the fuel pump is activating when you try to start if not check fuses and relay you will find them under the hood in the fuse box and if the pump is activating check for fuel pressure and check for pulse in the injectors good luck

It will bolt up fine, but the 89 lebaron trans is likely to take a different shifter plane setup and the axle splines will be different, unless the van is a late 85 and has the bigger axles from a 86. The most common tranny for the van would be an A520 and the lebaron would be a A555 or A523. There is a tag on the bellhousing of each trans that will have these or similar numbers on it.

So many possibilities. Ignition, fuel/injector, mechanical/compression, timing, etc. Invest in a qualified mechanic with proper tools.

If you knew how vehicles work then maybe does belt drive alternator ? (charges battery ! ) does belt drive cooling fan in back of radiator ? does the belt drive the power steering hydraulic pump ?

Code 12 simply means the computer is in diagnostic mode and any codes will follow. I hunch you have a bad ECM. you might try tapping on it and jiggling the wiring but in the end you've already replaced a lot of parts. I hope this helps. Take Care.
