CHANGED STARTER AND NOW WINDOWS A/C BLOWER AND ABS LIGHT ON

Possibly fusible link in the positive battery cable. However if the fusible link blew you wouldn't have any power at all. Check for codes in the abs system. Most likely shorted out a relay.

I work for mr. Lube

check the filters on the injectors, and the regulator. they have a small filter on each injector and one of the regulator. you can prime with the regulator off but only by hand not motor as it will go like a fountain. check the filters are clean, and refit once the fuel is pasted the regulator it should start to fire up.

99 RAM 4x4 Front Axle Knock

that is not normal there is a problem in the drive shaft by sliding so fa into the diff the cv joint"U" joint is no longer directly in line with the kingpin and is binding up as the steering direction is varied the center line of the joint has to remain directly inline with the turning point ( king pin, strut ) so that as the axle is turning and the steering is turned the joint is in the same plane check why the axle is allowed to move in and out and you will have your problem solved

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 and need to replace the rear backing plates, but can't find the parts anywhere. Does anyone know if 2000 or a different year might fit?

Apparently nothing newer will fit. The part number is 4761544ab. Searching on that number will show a lot of online retailers - most are showing 'Discontinued'. A few will sell you the part but prices range from $300 to over $400. You might want to check with a salvage yard. If they don't have one, they may find a yard that does and will ship it. But you will probably still have to pay a 'premium' price for one.

2002 dodge ram 4WD front hub bearing

Here is the easiest way . take a 14mm socket and extentsion and place it on the bolts and place againt your axle tube and start your truck and turn your wheel against it instead of pounding you will use your powersteering like a press to get your hub out its quicker and less strenous than pounding on the bolts ive done this many times i even made a extentsion for it i use a 14mm 1/2 drive shallow socket and a extension thats about 4 inches long i know im posting late on this one but if it helps anyone out then great

Pull to the left, Brakes

Sounds like it was pulling before the brake job...if so the only thing you didn't replace was the rotors, I assume you turned them? and did you see hard spots on the rotor? discolored area that didn't cut the same......switch the rotors left to right and see if the problem moves or just replace them if they've been cut twice.

MY 5.9L DIESEL IS CRANKING OVER SLOW WHAT CAN I CHECK? I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERIES BUT DID NOT HELP

Check for at least 12 volts at the starter. If the voltage is good, suspect a defective or "dragging" starter motor.

The right turn signal front is not working, All else works

Replace flasher, replace blown fuses. remove bulb and put another new one in, test. remove bulb check socket for corrosion - wipe with dielectric grease if corroded. reinsert bulb test. very carefully check all wires connected to back of socket - look for break or splits --R&R. Check the signal feed wire with a probe from the back of the bulb socket - go back along wire towards signal light relay. R&R You can find diagram on the web if you need one.

Where is the most common place for oil leak

The front and rear main seals will cause a significant oil leak or even the valve covers. I pressure washed mine really well then kept a eye on the leaks and it was a front main seal not easy to replace because you have to remove all the intercoolers and radiator then u have to seat the seal perfectly or it will leak again

Have a 1999 dodge cummins 2500 pickup and the temp/compass on roof is frozen wont change display numbers can go though the options though

If the compass is working and the thermometer is stuck (or wrong), it probably a bad sender which is located behind the bumper on the driver's side bolted to the radiator support. If the compass is not responding, it will probably need to be recalibrated and might need to reset the VAR. You can try to recalibrate first but if you have the owner's manual handy, go ahead and do the whole thing. In the owner's manual there is a VAR (variation) code to tell the truck which part of the planet you're in so it will be accurate. Locate that code and then do the following: To reset the variation: 1. Ignition on. 2. Hold down both buttons (US/Metric and Comp/temp) until VAR appears. (about 5 seconds) 3. Release both buttons. VAR remains. 4. Press and release the US/metric button. VAR1 appears. Press and release the US/metric button until the correct VAR is shown. 5. Press the Comp/temp button to store the new variation. To recalibrate: 1. Start the engine. 2. Depress both buttons until CAL appears, about 5 seconds after VAR. 3. Release both buttons. 4. Drive the vehicle on a level surface, away from large metal objects, through three or more complete circles in less than 48 seconds. The CAL message will disappear from the display to indicate that the compass is now calibrated.
