Fuel lealing into oil 1997 dodge ram 2500 5.9 diesel
The only real way to tell with the oil is have it tested, any autoparts store can do that through a lab. If it is fuel leaking in the oil then that has thinned the oil and will cause wear. The issue is most likely the injectors are not sealing when they are off and fuel is leaking into the cylinders till the pressure is relieved and that is why it also does not start easy. IT has to build up pressure to get the injectors to spray

i would try first to replace your fuel filter. this is an easy and cost effective way to solve this problem. the fuel filter should be located on the drivers side in the frame rail near the rear tire
Replace my drivers side door hinges on 1997 dodge full size van
Access to the bolt heads is through holes which are generally exposed once any interior trim has been removed. The lower hinge bolts are relatively easy but the upper ones can sometimes challenge the most supple of people. Sometimes other dashboard or instrument stuff must be removed or pushed aside. Sometimes such things as the fusebox must be removed.
Vehicle specific information could make your job easier.
If you have never replaced hinges before or removed a door, you have yet to experience the frustrations of door adjustment and the joy of finally getting it right with equal panel gaps all the way around and closing level with the surrounding panels and without riding up or down as it contacts the striker plate.
The latter point is of great importance if premature wear of the catch and the striker is to be avoided.
It is a job that should be faced without time constraints; quite simply it takes as long as it takes and for a novice that can be a long time.
If the hinge pins can be removed easily and refitted in situ and it is only the door side of the hinge that is worn then fitting half an hinge might make the task easier. It depends on the design.
Good luck!
Why reverse wont work
There is a snap ring that broke in the rear of the transmission. Remove the drive shaft, remove the tail piece, push the drum forward and replace the snap ring. If you have 4X4 remove the transfer case

Turn signal flasher
If you had all lights working one day and the next day you had a problem with out doing anything I would first check for a grounding problem. Easy way to fix you problem is to start by reversing everything you did for in prepping for your trailer . Put it all back the way it was and see if all lights work if so and you still want trailer lights then start fresh and connect one at a time . Most trailer wiring color systems are universal meaning they are all the same and depending on the age of the vehicle it is quite easy to install. If you have a newer vehicle (within approx 10 years) you will find that you can buy a "T" connector and it will plug right into a connection at the rear light assembly or a junction connecting left and right side. You can pick up a "T" connector at most automotive stores like Canadian Tire or Lordco . Try this first if you still need assistance i can walk you thru your trouble shoot and re-connection . Good Luck
Surges in and out in overdrive. over50 miles an hour it shift but sometimes goes out
It sounds like your over-drive is going out. Have you serviced the transmission lately? I would highly recommend also having the gov. pressure solenoid screen cleaned and as with most all Dodges, I recommend installing a inline filter in the pressure line going to the cooler. It will prolong the life of your transmission.
It's not hard to do and most any parts store can order you 1, the small inline filter looks like a metal fuel filter, cut the metal line going to the cooler, add some rubber trans. hose and filter. but only AFTER having your transmission serviced! Whoever services your transmission have them inspect the pan well, if you have a lot of metal in the pan, you will more than likely be looking at replacing your transmission in the very near future. Hope this helps.
