Hello Payroll.
You did not say what type of van. Caravan or full size? Engine size also will be beneficial.
Any check engine lights or codes stored? Does it slowly die or abruptly quit?
What has been done so far to fix the problem?
Let me hazard an educated guess at this point from past experience.
Something is heating up in the ignition system and expanding a copper coil and going open circuit causing ignition failure.
On full size vans the crankshaft position sensor was a very common issue in those years with the identical symptoms you described..
They are mounted on the left rear of the engine and would be easy to replace once the engine cover is removed.
If it is a Caravan it is a less common problem but it still is a likely similar part of the ignition system.
If you could fill in a few of those questions it would help me to guide you toward a repair.

Have you checked the relays under the hood as well as the fuses inside the car?
This problem is caused by something more than a fuse. If the relays all check out fine then a bad earth or faulty wiring harness is suspect.
Have you done any electrical work to the car recently? e.g fitted an aftermarket stereo or anything?
If you check the relays and find these are not the cause, please supply the exact make, model and year of the vehicle along with any other detail you can give.
Thanks for using FixYa.

if this is a motor home u must contact the manufacturer of the motor home, the one who preformed the conversion, standard Dodge wiring has been totally eliminated by them, they all wire the coaches in there own way.

Most likely if the fuse is good, you probably have a bad relay. Either under the hood in the black box called a relay center. Or under the passenger side kick panel right side of glove box.
Light circuit still drawing on
A car battery might lose some of its charge for other reasons. An electrical short or an accessory that is not functioning properly could cause excessive drain on a battery. Another possibility is that the switch or relay for a rear window defogger might get stuck in the "on" position, which would draw power from the battery even after the engine is turned off.
This all has to be checked bymeter.Check the connection of battery to starter and battery to alternator. In some cases it has been seen that Ignition switch does not turn the car off.It shows off but actually its faulty so it does not turn the car off,you think you turned the car off by key,but the car is still on due to faulty ignition switch.Get the ignition switch and ignition lock module checked.
Also check the interior light switches and wirings.
Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation

Hi, this may sound sarcastic, but have you looked under the hood, alot of the time there is a sticker with belt diagram and emissions information either actually stuck on the underside of the hood or radiator cross support.

You couldn't pay me to own a dodge anything, so I am pretty sure you are mistaken about mine having a sudden loss of power.
If I did have one with those symptoms id be checking fuel pressure first.
