*5 The comfort module is the main control module located under the drivers side of the dash.

Use this diagram for the door trigger isolation: motorsport.com/images/install_notes/149.jpg

Use DIAGRAM A.

Hope this helps.

Fault on diagnostics says ecm

under the hood on the driver side fender there should be a plastic box holding the relays it should be labeled what each relay is, purchase the new relay from an auto parts store and replace, it's as easy as plugging a cord into a power outlet.

Hey, Just recently bought a 2001

Volkswagen recommends only to check the timing belt & tensioner first time at 90,000 km, then every 30,000 km. Renew as necessary.
CAUTION: The most important fact is that the car is 10 years old. Do NOT drive the car without timing kit renewal !!!

How to remove passenger side

To remove the B pillar, use a flathead screwdriver, or trim removal tool, to remove the AIRBAG logo from the B pillar. Behind the airbag logo are T25 screws. Remove them, and be careful not to drop them into the pillar. If you drop them, pour some liquor out, because those homies are gone.
Unclip the pillar to allow access to the side airbag, then remove it. Refit all in reverse order.
