They should just be bolted on, probably be a bolt or clip to the front bumper probably 4 or 5 bolts along the top of the fender, probably 1 in the door jamb and one at the bottom of fender...you will have to remove wheel and the splash shield

HelloThe engine and transmission in this cars drivetrain is fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Powertrain Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s)

Clean the throttle position sensor.

get it check for codes ,then go to someone who repairs transmissions

( 2: the FSM tells you how to scan it with correct scan tool and then how to diagnose the system. 3: take a fast course at ASE school on bags. btw, they are man killers, if you dont read the FSM. never place body near any bag , playing with any wires in the car. ever,. bam a broke neck..or worse? the bad warning seems to be on every page in the FSM for GOOD CAUSE. Sig: I must ask questions first, I'm blind, and my tools can't reach, dig?

Check the ground with an ohm meter.

Check your idle air control valve

Defective shift cable.

Get yourself a wiring diagram & test your way to sucess

to turn off the airbag light you will have to take it to a dealer and have the computer reflashed and they will tell you why the light is on. I know on my Chrysler sebring the airbag light was on and I found out from a friend that the connector under the front seat sometimes gets loose and that was the problem with mine.
