Steps to change a valve cover gaket on a 1992 ford

its not very hard at all. once you get the heads off just make sure you follow the proper sequence to tighten the bolts. always remember to tighten from the center bolts out to the end bolts so the heads seat flat and even. and make sure you have the proper torque specs for those head bolts. 1) hand tighten. 2) torque to half of the OEM spec. 3) full torque spec. all of this takes a while to do so be patient. 1990 Ford Ranger 4.0L V6 2WD Brake line to the

Chilton won't offer a diagram because there are many line length combinations which can be used to repair this problem.

Often, technicians reroute the lines around the axle nearby the old line and secure it using plastic cable ties that can be bought at your local dollar store or Walmart.

There is a great deal of flexibility in putting a new line in, as long as it doesn't interfere with other moving parts of the suspension.

92 Ford Ranger 2.3L Starts up really rough then

I'm assuming that your engine is fuel injected. I had this same problem with a 93 s-10. The problem was a drop in oil pressure after the engine reached operating temp. The computer, sensing a drop in oil pressure would not let the injectors fire when I tried to restaart the engine. I used a jumper wire to bypass the oil presssure sending unit and never had the problem again. If the jumper wire works, then you either have a bad oil pressure sending unit, or you have a problem with low oil pressure. Hope this works for you.

Transmission fluid leaking from bell housing when in gear.

If you have never done this before,it may be best to take the truck to a shop or have some one with experience help you. You will need the truck up far enough to take out the transmission. The linkage and drive shaft has to be removed, then unbolt the transmission from the bell housing.Special tools may be needed to pull and replace the seal.
Transmission fluid needs to be changed since it is a brownish color.
