What is the procedure for

This is the factory specs and procedure.......

Tighten hub nut to 20-27 ft-lbs/27-34 Nm while
rotating wheel. Back off and finger tighten. Install
cotter pin.

We usually tighten as the specs say, back it off, and then finger tight and round to the next position that the cotter key can be installed.

The reason I add this step here is because you need to have some pre-load on the bearings. If you loosen the nut and then finger tighten the nut and can't get the cotter pin in, then sometimes folks will "back" the nut up (loosen) until the key can be installed. It is best to go the other way and slightly tighten to the next position that would allow the insertion of the cotter pin.

2000 caravan drivers side rotor wears out told tie-rod true or no

Look behind front wheel for rod that attaches to spindle/knuckle, and moves your wheel back & forth from steering rack. The tie rod (outer) is the piece attached on the end, that is threaded on that rod, and attaches to the spindle/knuckle, behind the wheel. Grab your tire and try to wiggle it hard from side to side. (hands at 3 & 9 o'clock ) Push with one hand while pulling with the other. If there is slop, or play, you have probably got a bad tie rod end, which you can observe it move by looking at where it attaches, while someone else wiggles it. I had an alignment done on my 2004 Chevy

not unless u requested it, understand that once a wear pattern is started like this starts it will continue, but i will say they should have asked if u wanted the tires rotated, I would complain, they will most likely do it for free, but remember be nice but be firm about the issue...

Squealing noise

hmm, sounds like to me maybe a belt isn't tight enough or you got some anitfreeze on belt and it's slipping. make sure belts are tight, then if that's not working, try spraying some carb cleaner on the belts as the car runs.

2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. What would stop the sliding door from latching?

There could be several reasons why your 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan sliding door is not latching properly. Here are some possible causes:
  1. Obstruction in the Door Track: Check the door track for any debris, dirt, or foreign objects that may be blocking the door from closing fully. Clean the track and remove any obstructions.
  2. Broken or Misaligned Door Hinges: If the door hinges are damaged or misaligned, the door may not close properly. Inspect the hinges for any signs of damage or wear and replace them if necessary.
  3. Damaged Latch or Actuator: The latch or actuator that holds the door in place may be damaged or malfunctioning, preventing the door from closing properly. Inspect the latch and actuator for any signs of damage and replace them if necessary.
  4. Dead Battery: If the battery in your Dodge Grand Caravan is weak or dead, the electronic functions of the sliding door may not work properly. Check the battery and replace it if necessary.
  5. Faulty Door Control Module: The sliding door may be controlled by a door control module, which may be faulty or damaged. Have the control module tested and replaced if necessary.
In any case, it's recommended that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic or dealership to diagnose and fix the issue, especially if you are unable to get the door closed manually.
