NEED TO HOTWIRE A 1983 RAMPAGE
You'll still need to unlock the steering wheel and shift lever. This can only be done with the key or by breaking the collar for the keyswitch. Either it is very difficult, and best left to the hands of a proffesional.

This is a case of pure coincidence. It just went bad at the same time you made the repair. Just a fluke,no worries.

Everything in elec. system has
if it turns over but doesnt run, check the hall pickup in the distributor. if it wont turn over at all, its the brown goundwire connected in the engine compartment on the drivers side halway between the starter motor and the master cylinder.
Where can I find a dodge Rampage Fan control Relay
What you might want to consider is running a jumper from the 12V (B+) lead going to the fan clutch to the B+ lead of the primary section (input signal section) of the fan relay. That way, when the engine warms up to the point of needing the fan on its own without the A/C, it will work. Then when the A/C is turned on, it will keep the fan running while the A/C compressor is in operation. In short, the fan will cycle on and off along with the fan during Air Conditioner operation and be independant of the engine's temperature control relay.
I hope this helps! If you would like me to draw a wiring diagram or would like me to walk you through it, I would be more than happy to. What year is your Rampage?
Sincere Regards,
Jason

If the leak was repaired then no, remember car was sitting so in order for it to leak it would have had to br running, also check all fluids and add fresh gas, may have to drain old gas,i would try to start it first before taking carb apart you may get lucky never know, worst case then take it apart if it doesnt run or start good, well good luck.
