see if can remove grill center piece and lever the latch with screwdriver if can reach

pour a cup of gas in the carburator if it runs replace the fuel pump and have teh carb rebuilt

have you replaced the condinsor

Low coolant can cause this. Make sure that the radiator is full. Dont look at the reservoir when it gets this bad. Also there could be issues with the water pump.

Those rattly noises are detonations,  caused by a very lean mixture. All the other symptoms indicate that the fuel flow to the carb is too low. Since you have replaced the pump and the filter, the only other things left to check are the lines and the tank sump. Or you could install a much larger pump.

Hi. Before you get into replacement expose the linkage and lube it good with a penetrating lubricant like WD-40. J

sounds like either the filter is plugged up or the front pump is not pumping fluid.
If the front pump is bad it will need to be replaced and the clutches and bands will need to be replaced.

It can be a dead cell in the battery that is draining it. Park the car and remove the negative cable. If you get up the next morning and the battery is dead, replace it as it has a dead cell. If it is still good then look for a power drain. Curtorsey, dome, glove box, under hood, trunk lights, or brake lights. It can also be a sticking relay that is draining it.
