Press "NAV" to go to the main navigation menu.

Scroll down and select "System Settings"

Scroll down and select "Clock Setting"

Make sure "Show GPS Clock" is selected with a red check in the box.

I had to switch "Daylight Savings" from "ON" to "OFF" in order to bring the time back an hour. I assume that I'll just have to switch it back to "ON" in the Spring in order to move the time forward and hour.

Service 4wd light intermittent/ Dodge 2500 Power Wagon 5.7 Hemi.

service 4wd light comes on on occasion.
goes out after about 2 min; into morning warm up.
came on yesterday for the whole drive home from work, about 60 mile..
Then did not come again until about 30 miles into this mornings commute. Then went out about 20 mi; later.
When it's on, the rear lock light on the switch flashes.
Normally in normal drive mode both the rear and rear/front lock will flash if set to that point but not in 4wd and acually set to lock.
But when service 4wd light is on and rear lock is flashing, if I set it to rear/front lock it does nothing, no flashing.
I was told 4wd module or transfercase 4wd motor/solenoid???.
yes/no?. Or something else. I notice no issues in normal driving mode.

the code your getting is for the evaporator emissions system, look for any vacuum hose or hose that's coming from the canister tank, and check to see if its bad or has rotted and fell off,or is closed off,any one of those hoses will cause that to happen,it may just be one that got knocked loose by accident, check any hose that has to do with vacuum or the emission system,a sensor is what caused that code to show up,so it did its job, good luck on finding it,you,ll know the problem when you come to it.

REMOVAL
WARNING: To avoid serious or fatal injury on vehicles equipped with airbags, disable the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) before attempting any steering wheel, steering column, airbag, seat belt tensioner, impact sensor, or instrument panel component diagnosis or service. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative (ground) cable, then wait two minutes for the system capacitor to discharge before performing further diagnosis or service. This is the only sure way to disable the SRS. Failure to take the proper precautions could result in accidental airbag deployment.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the screw (2) that secures the tilt steering column knob (1) and remove it from the tilt actuator (3) on the left side of the column.
3. From below the steering column, remove the two outboard screws that secure the upper column shroud (1) to the lower shroud (3).
4. Using hand pressure, press inward on both sides of the upper shroud above the parting line of the lower shroud to release the snap features that secure the two shroud halves to each other.
5. Remove the upper shroud from the lower shroud and the steering column.
6. Remove the one center screw that secures the lower shroud to the steering column (4).
7. Remove the lower shroud from the steering column.
8. Disconnect the wire harness connector (2) from the back of the multi-function switch housing (1).
9. Rotate the steering wheel far enough to access and remove the two screws (4) that secure the switch to the multi-function switch mounting housing (3).
10. Grasp the switch control stalk and pull it toward the left side of the vehicle to remove the switch from the mounting housing.

INSTALLATION
1. Slide the multi-function switch (1) into the multi-function switch mounting housing (3) from the left side. Be certain that the alignment pins on the top and bottom of the switch are properly engaged in the channels of the mounting housing.
2. Rotate the steering wheel far enough to install and tighten the two screws (4) that secure the switch to the mounting housing. Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (20 in. lbs.).
3. Reconnect the wire harness connector (2) to the back of the switch housing.
4. Position the lower shroud (3) onto the steering column (4).
5. From below the steering column, install and tighten the one center screw that secures the lower shroud to the steering column. Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (20 in. lbs.).
6. Position the upper shroud (1) onto the steering column over the lower shroud. On vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, be certain to engage the gearshift lever gap hider into the opening in the right side of both shroud halves.
7. Align the snap features on the upper shroud with the receptacles in the lower shroud and apply hand pressure to snap them together.
8. Install and tighten the two outboard screws that secure the upper shroud to the lower shroud. Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (20 in. lbs.).
9. Position the tilt steering column knob (1) onto the tilt adjuster actuator (3) on the left side of the steering column, then install and tighten the screw (2) to secure the knob to the actuator. Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (20 in. lbs.).
10. Reconnect the battery negative cable.

Have code on the odometer

Have code on the odometer "9ASCAP" or possibly "9RSCRP". What does this mean? It seems to run fine.

It actually says GASCAP. Just turn off the engine, Remove the gas cap and replace it, making sure to turn it more than you think you need to close the cap. You may need to purchase a new gas cap because the seal is old.

dodge ram 1500 running rich already changed plugs and sometimes a misfire

Hello Tom , I just saw your problem and I will try to be of some help to you. You have received 1 solution already and I wish to give Michael an excellent on the solution he gave you # 1-8.
I know that it is very difficult to diagnose a rich running vehicle. You say you changed the plugs, but you didn't say if you changed the wires. You did state a misfire. Lets start from the wires, and work our way down the list.
If wires are new then good. If wires are old check engine compartment on a very dark night, start engine and look at each wire (in the dark) to see if there are sparks running up and down the wires. If you see this on even one wire, change all the wires.

Now for the hunt, you will see what I mean. You will now check for vacuum leaks. This is not as hard as it sounds, but it will be interesting. Open your hood and start to look for OBVIOUS vacuum leaks. Broken or split hoses, hoses with cracks on ends. If you go one hose at a time you can use this simple method that I use. Get a piece of white chalk. Remove one hose at a time. Look for visible cracks on the ends and if there take a sharp knife and cut off about 1/8 th inch on each end. Wipe off the ends with a clean rag , put your finger over one end and **** on the other end, place ****** over suction end, and if it doesn't leak that's good. Don't worry you won't die, and it's cheaper then a smoke machine or a repair shop that will smoke your system for you. Mark the hose with the chalk and replace to it's location. You either have one big leak or a number of little leaks that you will find. Replace any hoses that are very badly damaged. Your truck will start to run and sound different as you go along. I would estimate that you will go thru less than fifteen hoses, and you will find your problem in the engine compartment.

You didn't mention any check engine light on. If your light is on, I will speculate codes for EVAP system. You may have to follow hoses behind engine. Remember to mark each hose with chalk before you reinstall , this will keep you moving along, and not go back over same hose.

If you need to contact me I would be more then happy to help you with any additional questions. I know my methods are a little unorthodox but they continue to work for me. I thank you for your contact, and wish you GOOD LUCK.

Why does my AC blower motor work intermittently?

Blower motor for AC works intermittently. When it does come on, usually after about 20 minutes of drive time, it blows great. At times it will come on as soon as I crank engine, at times it will not come on at all. One quirk seems to be that if when turning ignition off, I turn the AC switch off, the blower motor will not come on the next time I crank the truck and turn on the AC. Can anyone help?

Had the same problem, You Need a volt meter and need to "Know How to Use It" to fine this one.
Take readings at the motor connector when it is working right and write them down on paper, when it stops working again, take the readings again. If they are the same look toward the motor, if they are different look toward the switch and wiring, again using voltage meter readings, Mine was a connector pin that was now "clicked" in properly.
Intermittent electrical problems can make you feel like your a blind man trying to catch a stray dog.
good luck

Its there on the passenger side. You should be able to see the Black painted Accumulator near the firewall. Look at the top of it and you will find the Low Service Port there.(2005 Dodge Ram with a 5.7 liter Hemi)
