Usually you get a code that tells you which cylinder or cylinders are acting up.The code means the cylinder (s) are not providing power but does not tell you why.So you have to figure out if it is an ignition, compression, or fuel problem to proceed. Could also be a vac leak.

One of the gaskets has blown at a point where the a water jacket is blowning into the cylinders but not mixing with an oil jacket on the heads. Try to use some Bars Leak and see if you can get it to seal and if not, their are also aluminum shavings mixed with sealer for some of the worse problems. If it seals you will then know that it will need a gasket replacement at some point

If the first checks pass, the PCM then uses the LDP to seal the vent valve and pump air into the system to pressurize it. If a leak is present, the PCM will continue pumping the LDP to replace the air that leaks out. Hi Vince, The problem can also be to do with leaking valves or worst, damaged piston rings. Carry out a compression test. If the reading is low, use two squirt of oil into the combustion chamber. If the reading increases piston is indicated, if it remains low the valves are suspect and a head job required. Regards John

Sounds like the float mechanism in the gas tank is bad

ABS failures are numerous. Depending on the source of the problem can be the abs connector near each wheel axial or a broken stator (a small disk which is part of the sensors at each axial) or its pickup sensor.Other problems that are associated to this are uneven braking presser due to a frozen caliper or damaged/worn brake pads, shoes on drum brakes.Some problems are due to problems with electronic assisted brake components. Sounds like you have an exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold, did you have the exh manifold machined flat?

it mite have a axle seal leaking or a wheel cyclinder mite be leaking causing the brake shoes to grab and stick ,

various problems but mostly i find idle surging and droping over and ove r is a vaccume leak, or an intake leake somewhere, such as in the air filter housing, air intake tube, or at intake to manifold seal. check vacumm lines, air filter ect. fuel filter replacement wouldnt hurt, is there a check engine lite?

My first guess is the anti-theft system, but the headlights and other accessories would have to work.If nothing works, you'll have to trace the main circuits from the battery to the fuse boxes to find it. And the ground connections.

Could be a connection issue or one of the fuseable links.

look inside the rubber boot between the door and the cab wires brake inside the boot

is it a used or new computer if the starter turned before cand now bit doesnt try trding starter relay for horn relay and make sure battery cables are clean and tight also if used and all numbers on computer do not match it is the wrong one also alot of used and new computers need to be reflashed and this can only be done by a dealership most of the time unless an independant shop has a chrysler scan tool

YOU COULD BE HAVING ENGINE MISFIRE.DUE TO BAD SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES.ALSO DIRTY FUEL INJECTORS WILL CAUSE ENGINE TO ROUGH IDLE OR IDLE UP AND DOWN.PUT A BOTTLE OF FUEL INJECTOR CLEAN IN A FULL TANK OF GAS.ALSO CHANGE PLUGS AND WIRES.IF TRUCK HAS 30000 TO 60000 MILES ON IT.THATS THE SCHEDULE MAINTENCE INTERVALS IF SPARK PLUGS HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED.

The most likely cause is a defective lock actuator.You'll have to pull the door panel to get at it.Unplug the connector,and rig a 12v test light across the two connector pins.Pressing the lock or unlock button should make the light come on(lock or unlock just reverses the polarity).If you get a light,then the actuator is the problem.If not,then trace back towards the lock relay to find the open in the circuit.

Your wheels may be out of balance. Go to a tyre shop to get them balanced.
