I have a 2005 dodge ram 5.7 hemi i have changed

I had the same problem and replaced the Crank sensor with one from the auto parts store, it lasted a month, then failed. Then I got a sensor from DODGE (dealer) and no more problems. The perameters for those sensors that come from the autoparts store are such that they fit a veriety of vehicles. The one you get from your local dealer is more specific to your vehicle. When this sensor malfunctions, it can created multiple trouble codes, but it's a single fix. Also check that your wires are routed correctly.

It detects the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gas compared to the outside air. The heated oxygen sensor 1 has a closed-end tube made of ceramic zirconia. The zirconia generates voltage from approximately 1V in richer conditions to 0V in leaner conditions. The heated oxygen sensor 1 signal is sent to the Engine Control Module (ECM). The ECM adjusts the injection pulse duration to achieve the ideal air-fuel ratio. The ideal air-fuel ratio occurs near the radical change from 1V to 0V.

Had 2005 ram 4x4 hooked to computer, shows miss is in #2 cylinder, what could cause truck to miss/lose power and could it be in fuel system

I suppose it COULD be fuel...maybe an injector. But it would be best to troubleshoot the problem in the misfire first. Check to see if the cylinder is getting spark first, and if not, track the problem back from there, testing components as you go.

Truck wont start after changing air filter

I am not aware of anything connected to the air filter box that would keep the engine from starting. If you unplugged a sensor it should still start, just run rough and the check engine light would stay on.Its possible a wiring harness got unplugged or something got shorted and you blew a fuse but thats not likely. If you don't see anything obvious around the air filter, and all of the fuses are good, you may have to start from zero and find out if you are missing spark to the plugs or fuel pressure.

I am having starting problems with my 2006 Dodge 3500. Both batteries have been replaced. The relay has been replaced and the air intake disconnected. It ran fine for one day not it's dead again

Is ita diesel? If so check starter for voltage with key in start mode. I'm assuming it is not turning over..just clicking. The starter is hot all the time, but there should a small wire that trips the starter. If that has power check the starter contacts.
