Tune-up 2003 buick century locating spark plugs

I am assuming you have a 3.1 v6 engine the spark plugs are 3 right in the front next to the oil dipstick and above the exhaust manifold you can follow the wires from the coil to find each plug. The other 3 are on the back side of the engine and can be difficult to get to. Easiest way is to remove the upper engine mounts and tilt the engine forward a few inches with a ratchet strap or something to gain clearance. MAKE SURE it is secure because your arms will be back there. And those three plugs are in the same location as others just on the opposite side of the engine.

2003 Buick Century just quits running going down the road. Keeps throwing a code for the MAF sensor. We have replaced this several times. It will run fine for a couple months then it does it again.

Why would you think the issue is with the MAF, did you do the diagnostic testing? What was the fault code? MAF sensors seldom fail. I would look for loss of fuel pressure or spark maybe. I think the MAF fault is due to the other problem and it is not the cause of it but a symptom.

My 2003 buick century custom has dashboard lights on--how to reset Service Vehicle Soon, Trak light off, Abs light?

You need to have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes to see what the problem is ,then diagnosed , then fixed ! Then the light's will go off ! This means taking it to a qualified repair shop . SERVICE VEHICLE SOON The IPC illuminates the SERVICE VEHICLE SOON message in the DIC when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects certain malfunctions that are not related to the emissions system. The IPC receives a class 2 message requesting illumination from the PCM.

2003 buick century spark plug wire sizing chart

I doubt very much if you will get a HT length chart to help you, but if they are all various lengths, it usually goes that the longest to the furthest plug working back to the shortest in the firing order. leads should sit comfortably without strain or being too loose use lead spacers to keep the leads from touching each other or you run the risk of a misfire as the spark is induced into the lead with the less resistance ( induction stroke where there is no compression)

What could be problem if the temperature is more than half on the gauge and i just change the head gasket, replaced water pump, thermostrat but the temp is still more than half on the gauge

Blind guess would be the temperature sensor for the electronic fan on the radiator. Other thing that may be causing higher temperature then you want is that coolant system has rad that is partially blocked or that you have a buildup of sludge in the cooling system. Just a blind guess. More help will probably be along shortly. Hope this helps

Why is my airbag light on?

Don't have to have an accident for the light to come on ! There is a code stored in the airbag module pointing to the problem . Could have a sensor problem ,or wiring , or the module could be at fault . The SDM performs continuous diagnostic monitoring of the SIR system electrical components. Upon detection of a circuit malfunction, the SDM will set a diagnostic trouble (DTC) and inform the driver by commanding the instrument panel cluster (IPC) to turn the AIR BAG indicator ON. So this light only comes on when there is a malfunction in the system , not an accident . Your best bet is to take it to a ASE certified repair shop or the dealer . People have been kill trying to fix there own airbag systems not knowing how they work or how to properly test them .

Which two ten amp fuses and diode in the under the hood fuse box are related to the air conditioning compressor clutch please

In the I/C fuse block look for the "HVAC" and the "RDO/HVAC" fuses. In the underhood fuse block look for the "A/C CLUTCH" fuse. The diode is clearly marked with the diode symbol. Since the a/c compressor is ultimately controlled by the HVAC module and the PCM it would be wise to use a scan tool to see if both of those modules are communicating the correct info for an A/C request. Changed front turn signal on '03 Buick Century with car running. Car died and will not start. All lights on dash operate, headlights and radio operate. Cannot find a fuse that is blown.

Did you short something out ? Do you have a SECURITY light lit on the insturment cluster ? anti-theft system problem . Will not start how ? does the engine do anything when you turn the key to the start position ? A - crank no start or no crank - no start ? If the engine cranks an doesn't start , is there spark at plug wires ? Is there fuel ? An anti - theft problem will let the vehicle engine crank but not start an run , disables fuel injectors .
