location of fuel pump relay on a 1991 buick lesabre
the fuel pump relay is located in the fuse compartment behind the glove box. It is the big black fuse on the very top of the fuse compartment right over one that looks just like it.

My engine has recently developed an oil leak that appears to be at what I'm told is the knock sensor. I wasn't sure if this was possible or if it could possibly be coming from something just above that and dripping onto the knock sensor, but I am unsure of what it could be leaking from above. If the Knock sensor got hit while removing the motor mount to replace the water pump could it have cracked and be the source of the leak?
if I'm not mistaken, the knock sensor is mounted on the transmission bell close to the motor and detects the flywheel position. It is possible that the valve cover gaskets might be leaking from the bottom side and dripping onto the knock sensor, but it is also possible that the leak might be from the rear main seal of the motor. If that is the case, you will have to drop the ****** to replace the seal. If the knock sensor was bad your vehicle would not start at all, just crank. Try to wipe all the old oil with rags and look very closely where it gets oily again

have 1991 buick when turn on key engine will crank but will not turn over, unless press gas pedal, never had to do this before
what happens when it does finally run, does it run rough, black smoke?? if the fuel pressure regulator is leaking it COULD causet his problem. Find the regulator and take the vac hose off, if there is fuel in the hose, replace the fuel pressure regulator.

How difficult and expensive is it to replace the heater blower motor on 1991 Buick LeSabre? I live in Chicago and thought I could "get by" without it because I don't do alot of driving, but ok, no. Any work-around solutions?
Are you sure the blower motor is defective? If the blower motor resistor pack is bad the blower will not work. Have you applied 12 volts directly to the blower motor to verify it is bad? I have not replaced a blower motor on your particular car but it is usually a labor intensive repair. Depending on where you have it repaired the cost could be as little as $150 and up. Hard to say without actually doing it. Replacing the Resistor Pack is a fairly easy repair, so hopefully that is your problem.

have a 1991 buick lesabre 3800 v6, cant get to run, have had in a buick dealership replaced coil pack and icm, ran good for 2 then stopped, took back to dealership and the have been unable to find what is wrong with after a week of checking, they would only say that it was out of time, had taken home and replaced timing chain and sprockets still have the same problem, will turn over and try to start but backfires through throttle body, the parts i have replaced in the past 2 months are the ecm, crankshaft sensor, cam sensor, throttle position sensor,o2 sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, icm, coil pack, injectors, timing set, serpentine belt, cam magnet, battery. all either different problems or just old, the car only has 52,000 miles on it, but unable to find why it wont run.
Check the ECM if it has the number 1228253 on it, this is what is wrong with it. Gm trashed all of these bad ecms. Get a 16198264 as they do not cause a cutting off problem . Get a delco ecm , aftermarket units will give trouble and may be a rebuilt 1228253 which is junk.

BUY YOUR RADIATOR HOSES FIRST MAKE SURE NEW HOSES MATCH THE OLD HOSES. BUY NEW RADIATOR CLAMPS AND HAVE EXTRA GALLON OF ANTIFREEZE. MAKE SURE ENGINE IS COOL IF YOU GOING TO CHANGE TOP RADIATOR HOSE REMOVE RADIATOR CAP OR OVER FLOW JUG CAP IF YOUR RADIATOR DONT HAVE RADIATOR CAP FIND RADIATOR DRAIN PLUG.PLACE A CATCH PAN.OPEN RADIATOR DRAIN PLUG CATCH ANTIFREEZE. DRAIN HALF ANTIFEEZE IF YOU GOING TO REPLACE TOP HOSE AND DRAIN OUT ALL ANTIFREEZE IF YOU GOING TO CHANGE LOWER COOLANT HOSE TO WATER PUMP.WHEN DONE CLOSE DRAIN PLUG.PUT ANTIFREEZE IN A SAFE PLACE FROM PETS AND KIDS UNTIL JOB DONE. WHEN YOU REMOVE COOLANT REMOVE WATER HOSE CLAMPS THEN REMOVE RADIATOR HOSES PUT NEW RADIATOR HOSES AND CLAMPS ON HOSES TIGHTEN HOSE CLAMPS DONT OVER TIGHTEN. POUR ANTIFREEZE IN RADIATOR.CRANK ENGINE UP CHECK FOR LEAKS.CHECK COOLANT LEVEL WHEN THERMOSTAT OPENS ADD MORE COOLANT AS NEEDED.
