Just cut either the positive or negative feed to motor. Connect 1 side of the wire to a 2 terminal on/off toggle switch & the other side to the the other side of a toggle switch. You can extend wires from both end & mount under dash if you like.

Check the ECM part number. If it is a 1228253 that is your problem. get a 16198264 the other number does just what your car is doing. I worked at a Buick dealer and know about the problematic 1228253 ecm.

few things to check so i will keep it simple bulbs conectors fuse wiring and main switch thats about all it will be to look at hope this helps ivan

It should take care of itself if the engine is running - can you tell if the electric pump in the engine compartment is running ?

Could be a faulty idle air control valve or a dirty throttle body, or a vac leak.

Your power brake booster went out or the one way check valve in the vacuum line going to the booster from the intake manifold

On the right side of dash. Do not use #1228253 they will give trouble.

AND WHAT IS THE QUESTION?

Check the voltage at the solinoid, the terminal lead from the battery and the terminal from the start switch.
Might be a dirty or loose terminal on the battery, or a flat battery.
