Under the drivers side of the car. It is either by the drivers feet or back by the rear wheel. jack up the car and you will see the fuel lines running from the back of the car to the front.

Might be the coil module. coil pack is located at the front of the engine, if there is stuff oozing out of it then the module is bad.
Auto parts stores have them and they run $75-100 depending on brand.

Open the armrest and you should see the mounting screws. The liner pull out if that helps.

Does it also get poor gas mileage? The cam sensor may be the problem. The common problem is the magnet in the cam falls out, the ECM puts the engine in a mode that it will run but the timing is off usually causes bad gas mileage and could cause backfire.

Dissconect the fuse pull off the front of the steering wheel with care and then disconnect the wires make sure its not the horn and it should slide out then replace the plastic cover on the steering wheel and the put the fuse back to be sure

Check your fuel pressure; if it is within specs, have a muffler shop test your back-pressure from your catalytic converter. There are other things that can cause strange problems like this but it is a process of elimination.

I believe you can replace by laying UNDER the fender and reaching up . The bulb will twist to unlock. Replace the bulb and repeat proceedure. NOTE!!! you may need to remove some of your plastic splashguards to access it!!

I agree with the possible bad fuel theory. You would need to figure out if the miss is a fuel problem or ignition problem to proceed.
I would pull the plugs and look at them, also check for vac leaks.
Is the check engine light on when the engine is running ? If so check for trouble codes.

sparks ? sound very usual and could be a veery big problem such as the ignition hitting ground and electrifying all component.

  1. Disarm airbag Failure to do so may result in accidental deployment of airbag, possibly causing personal injury.
  2. Turn ignition switch to the Off position.
  3. Remove two upper panel cluster attaching screws, then pull trim plate out of lower retaining clips.
  4. Remove two switch attaching screws, then switch assembly, Fig. 11.
  5. Disconnect electrical connectors.
  6. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
