I have a 1988 Chevy K2500 with a 5.7 liter engine.
Most of the time ,you have to buy a new throttle body to correct the problem.Check your fuel pump pressure to start with.If this is ok,then check the E G R valve ,if it is sticking open,or fluttering with the vacuum of the engine then the E G R solenoid needs to be replaced.
Lights fuses keeps blowing
When a fuse blows, you get out wiring diagrams,to see what in that circuit would be the most likelyto fail & cause a fuse to blowYou do not replace the fuse as you should knowit will blow again ,or your going to need help if you replace it one time
P0708 code, cleared ,
hi this has something to do with the transmission, you have either a short on the positive side of the transmission range sensor or the sensor is u/s or becoming that way, your best bet would be to take it off and test for a short, or see if a wire has broken...hope this helps
