How to change 89 beretta fuel filter

You can reach the fuel filter much easier if you jack up the passenger side of the car. Place the jack just before the rear wheel and remove the tyre to have space to work. The fuel filter is located near the gas tank. You will need to hold the nut on one side as you loosen the nut on the other side. Take care not to damage the fuel line.

Brakes went out while driving

Assuming your brake job was good, you probably have a brake line leak. You should have noticed a low pedal and checked the brake fluid level. If low , their is a leak and it must be fixed right away.

Need to know the sensor locations are for an ignition spark on a 1989 Beretta 2.8 V-6 - I am not getting any spark to the spark plugs. Why?

You can look up all the sensors and do the proper diagnostics for a no start issue by following the testing procedures in the factory service manual, failure to do so may result in parts being replaced that DO NOT solve the problem. Click HERE

You need a new dash head unit. Try a breakers yard for a second hand replacement.

I have a unique problem:

You can bypass the old system and install a lock and ignition switch like the old cars w/o locking steering. It's not a good idea. I would think about asking a locksmith to help or replace the steering column.
