I put gas in my 2005 3500 diesel truck (chevy) and
Did you change the fuel filter or bleed the injector lines? You need to get that gas out of the system if you haven't already. Once the filter is changed and filled with diesel I would loosen the injector lines and crank the engine until the gas is cleared out of the lines. Tighten the lines and see what happens.

My 2005 GMC does not have a fuel filter anywhere. Must be another great idea that an engineer came up with." we will tell them not having a filter cuts down on maintainence costs" As far as not having fuel to the engine, I would pull the line loose ane turn the key on to see if you have any fuel flow you might have to cycle the key several times as the pump will only run for 3 seconds with each key cycle, maybe a rubber line has collapsed on the inside, happens on brake lines all the time.

If you haven't totally removed all the gasoline from the fuel supply by draining the tank, cleaning the fuel lines and replacing the fuel filter, the leftover gasoline will effect the engine and performance.

You have a bad cluster.If it is 70k miles or less then you can get the cluster replaced free at the dealership.If it is between 70k and 80 then you will get the cluster free but you have to pay for labor and for the reprogramming of the cluster.Anything above this is parts and labor.Hope this helps.
