Yes they could a PO300 is a generic misfire code. PO301 would be cylinder number 1 so on and so forth. check the resistance of your plug wires they should be approx. 7000 ohms per foot. it could also be a coil over plug. primary resistance of the cops should be 1-3 ohms. but since this is a misfire it would be your secondary. which should be between 20000-30000 ohms. hope I helped you out. There is a electric actuator that controls the vents and they may have lost there base. Turn the A/C controls off and disconnect the battery again and make sure your radio is off too. Reconnect the battery after 1 min, turn the ignition key's to the run position for 30 second and then turn it off for 5 seconds and start the engine. Turn on the radio and reset the station and clock, Hope the electronic actuator reset it self, if not they over run and the gears have cracked and needs to be replaced. Steering gear box knock
Lube your intermediate steering shaft. It is very easy. Remove the bolt in the shaft that you can see from under the hood and push the steering shaft up toward the firewall. Where the shaft goes into itself place some grease and work it back and forth. This will last quite a while, but is easy to do again if need be. Replace the bolt and you should be go to go. The dealer will charge you $150 to do the same job. The knock goes away as soon as you test it out.

This sounds like the hydroboost unit is leaking.behind the master cylinderThe braking system on this using the power steering pump to provide power assisted brakes instead of a brake booster. The hydroboost unit most likely needs replaced.
