My 2004 Chevy Silverado can't

Have you checked B+ power feed for memory to the PCM ? The PCM/ECM - engine computer has a couple of power feeds and one is for the keep alive memory . Looking at a wiring diagram of the powers and grounds would show that . Testing with a volt meter would show if it has power or not . Check PCM B fuse 20 amp located in the under hood fuse box . An don't just look at it ,check for voltage across the fuse . This fuse should be hot at all times .

2009 chevy AVEO 5 ac blows hot air

The guage needs to read between 35/40 psi.. If its much higher you may be overfull, this causes it to not cool.. Fix by letting some freon out, then top it back to needed pressure.. If pressure is correct, it would be a clog in the system.. Usually an orafice tube or accumulator..good luck!

Replaced 4wd switch on dashboard, did not solve problem. 4wd doesn't connect.

Which of these transfer case's does your truck have ? Transfer Case - NVG 149-NP3 Transfer Case - NVG 246-NP8 Transfer Case - NVG 261-NP2 Transfer Case - NVG 263-NP1 The NVG 263 transfer case features a three button shift control switch located on the instrument panel. DTC B0790 DTC B2725 DTC C0306 DTC C0327 DTC C0359 DTC C0379 DTC C0550 The NVG 246 EAU transfer case features a 4 button shift control switch located on the instrument panel. Changed the dashboard switch for 4wd. That didn't work. Still cannot get into 4wd.

The NVG 263 transfer case features a three button shift control switch located on the instrument panel. When the ignition is in the RUN position, the transfer case shift control module (TCCM) starts monitoring the transfer case shift control switch to determine if the driver desires a new mode/gear position. At a single press of the transfer case shift control switch, the lamp of the new desired position begins flashing to inform the driver that the TCCM has received the request for a new mode/gear position. The lamp continues to flash until all shifting criteria has been met and the new mode/gear position has been engaged. Once the new mode/gear position is fully active, the switch indicator for the new position remains ON constantly. In the event that the TCCM can not or will not complete the shift, the indicator returns to the previously selected position; this is a Transfer Case Shift Control Switch Indicator Flashes, then Returns to Previous Mode condition. The New Venture Gear model NVG 246 RPO NP8 transfer case is a two speed automatic, active, transfer case. The NVG 246 EAU provides 5 modes, Auto 4WD, 4HI, 4LO, 2HI and Neutral. The Auto 4WD position allows the capability of an active transfer case, which provides the benefits of on-demand torque biasing wet clutch and easy vehicle tuning through software calibrations. The software calibrations allow more features such as flexible adapt ready position and clutch preload torque levels. The technology allows for vehicle speed dependent clutch torque levels to enhance the performance of the system. For example, the system is calibrated to provide 0-5 ft lb of clutch torque during low speed, low engine torque operation, and predetermined higher torque for 40 km/h (25 mph) and greater. This prevents crow-hop and binding at low speeds and provides higher torque biases at higher vehicle speeds, in order to enhance stability.

All gauges quit working. Replaced all stepper motors. Still nothing is working.

Is there power (B+) an ground's for instrument cluster ? When you turn the key to the run position ( not start ) do the gauges do the sweep test ? Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check? Go to Step 2 Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster 2 Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF. Observe the instrument cluster. Does the instrument cluster perform the displays test? Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems Go to Step 3 Turn the ignition OFF. Disconnect the IPC. Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF. Connect a test lamp between the ignition 1 voltage circuit and a good ground. Does the test lamp illuminate? Perform Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster , Diagnostic System Check - Driver Information Systems or Diagnostic System Check - Audible Warnings before using the Symptom Tables in order to verify that all of the following are true: • There are no DTCs set. • The control modules can communicate via the serial data link. Review the system operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions. Refer to the following: • Instrument Cluster Description and Operation • Indicator/Warning Message Description and Operation • Driver Information Center (DIC) Description and Operation • Audible Warnings Description and Operation If you don't know about serial data communication an DTC'S I strongly suggest you take your vehicle to a Chevy dealer or an ASE certified repair shop .

Heater blow cold air

Hi Ricky: - I'd start by checking the engine coolant level. If there is no coolant, there is no heat source. - Some history should help you to locate the problem. - If you just drained the system and replaced the coolant, there will probably be an air lock. You will need to "prime" the heater to get the air out. Reply as a comment to this post if you need more info. Cheers.

It would stop at any given time, where sometimes it would restart and sometimes it doesn't. then after 4-5 hours it starts right up.

Your best bet is to take it to a ASE certified repair shop ! You have no idea of the electronics involved an you don't have the diagnostic tools to deal with this . I know you think you do but you don't have a clue.
