My 03 Suburban LT has a worn power button on the
I think it is a matter of grabbing the button and pulling it off. There should be a D shapped ring on the inside of the new button, so make sure the old D ring is not still on the radio shaft or it won't allow you to install the new button.

OK, if the mass air flow sensor was changed and it didn't result in eliminating the service engine soon light, then it could be bad wiring to the mass air flow sensor.
Check for current at the sensor.
I am replacing a front rotor on a 2003 chevy
Sometimes there are two screws on the inner face of the rotor. These are typically removed with an impact-screw-driver. I use a big screw driver and a hammer but have had to drill them out at times. Wouldn't be a problem to leave them out but just helps to reduce any vibration.
The inner circle on the Router where it contact the Hub, or Wheel-bearing portion gets corroded - use a lubricant at this location and clean with sand-paper afterwards and perhaps some high-temperature brake grease after on this location as well as the studs holding on the wheel.
Further, the pins that hold the caliper on - should be able to slide in and out freely - if not, remove them, sand them and apply the same grease.
Further , the portion that the caliper sits on have rails that should be cleaned with a file or something as they develop a groove and doesn't allow the caliper to travel properly causing uneven wear on your inner or outer pad and causing the rotors to warp prematurely as well. Apply same grease to this location as well.
Note; New rotors have a thin film of oil on them that should be removed with Brake-Cleaner or Gas. If not, this will ruin your pads immediately.
Get all the grease and oil off your rotors and do not handle with your hands - use a dry, clean rag.
This should get you going.
Oh, the rotor stuck on... Give it a couple good whacks with a hammer - but don't strike the surrounding metals as may shatter things. Oh, don't use the hammer method if you want to re-use the rotors. Inspect the backing plate which is the metal disk behind each rotor - sometimes these get out of place and will rub against the rotor making a noise.
My recommendation is always the best rotor and the soft, or fibre pads as it is easier to replace pads once a year than to replace the rotors - Rotors will last for 10 years this way.
Good luck.

How do the axles come out of the front diff. on a
The axle shafts are held in with a spring type retaining ring that is on the inner end of the shaft and can be quite difficult to remove at times. I use a small slide hammer attached to the outer end of the shaft and often a quick hit with it will cause the axle shaft to pop out but I have had others where I've had to remove the differential unit and get it on the bench where I had better access to pull the shaft out. Take a close look at the bearing behind the seal that supports the shaft while you have the axle out. I have the best luck using OEM seals on these but the LH side is prone to seeping a tiny bit of oil regardless.
2005 Suburban.

Keep loosing coolet no leaksfound
You only have a few options here:
Coolant either leaks out, evaporates, or is exhausted through the engine. Check your oil & see if you notice any coolant mixed in, indicating internal seal issues. Also, you can have a small amount of coolant drawn into the engine cylinder & exhausted as steam or vapor and never notice. If only a small amount and no noticeable engine problems, evaporation. Engine miss sometimes & refilling anti-freeze often is an internal leak, generally the Head Gasket. Very rarely, a transmission (automatic only) has been found with antifreeze in it due to a leak in the radiator/transmission cooling system. Good Luck.

Bring it to a trusted local mechanic. Could be vacuum, solenoid issues or fried.

My front and Read Windshield wipers are not
the switch / stalk on the dash may be the culprit especially if the same multifunction switch does both sets of wipers, or an earth wire may be broken to the switch which would kill both functions.
Check the plug connection to the stalk and try substituting another stalk from a breaker car and see if it works, then if so, you can set about removing the old switch and replacing it with the breaker one, but it only needs plugged into the harness plug inside the steering column cover to be tested.
I am having the same issue as Jamie414 (8/12/08)
Hi! The heated seat has an electric grid or element under the seat cushion and is what is used to heat the seat. The element resistance can become too high due to a bad spot in the element causing the seat heater control to shut it off prematurely. I have replaced many of these elements for this problem and this requires the seat to be removed from the vehicle and the seat cushion cover has to come off to replace it. This part is only available from the dealer and varies in cost depending on the vehicle options. Contact your local dealer for pricing information and have the vin# ready so they can price you the correct part. Hope this information was helpful!
