My 2003 suburban has one headlight on at times and when I switch the high/low selector the opposite headlight comes on. Sometimes lately no headlights, and randomly both headlights on low.

You have a ground problem. In order for an electrical circuit to work it has to flow without resistance. Generally the resistance will be found in the grounding of the system. One light is not grounding properly and the other light will feedback through the other light to obtain a ground and causing the problem your experiencing. Radio sound went out

Does your stereo have a manual volume adjustment knob? If so, then try twiddling it quickly from side to side. If this helps, then it could be a poor volume control issue. Try having this professionally cleaned or repaired. If not this issue, then also try removing the stereo and checking the wire connections on the back of it to the speakers. I'm assuming that all the speakers are failing to project sound when the fault occurs, so we are talking power issue here. The fault is most likely part of the stereo head unit.

Will not go into 4th gear or uphill

Hi Msch, As your vehicle is a relatively late model I think it would be fitted with electronic transmission control modules. As you have lost power to the speedo and other circuits, you may have a problem with the speed and ABS sensors. The signals from those send command signals to the management system and control both vehicle speed and gear changes. Take the vehicle and have a diagnostic scan carried out. I believe the problem to be electronic and nothing to do with how much ATF is in the box. I do believe the electrical problems are related. Regards John

Reduce power engine

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS and BCM faults) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

2003 suburban with a fan that will not turn off after turning off ignition and taking keys out. still blowing

Could be a bad ignition module (key switch) but more likely than not you fried a relay and your fan relay is providing constant hot to your fan. Swap the relay with another one in your system (or with a spare if you have one).
