Battery light flashing
Aside from getting the battery analyzed at a parts house...1.) Get a multimeter. $20.00 in stores or buy a friend a beer.2.) Connect the Black probe to the Neg terminal of you battery3.) Connect the Red Probe to the Pos terminal of the battery4.) Voltage should read about 12-12.6v DC5.) Start the Car, voltage should come up to about 14.2-14.8v DC6.) Check for parasitic battery drain. i.e. Do you have phone chargers plugged in, DVD players, LED Lights, Coffee Makers. Most systems keep these accessories draining even when the car is off. That combined with the internal Radio, On-Star, and billion other things going on behind the scenes your battery can take quite a beating. It's tedious and may be better to take it in for service to track that down.I had an old truck that killed the battery every 12 hours because a power mirror switch was shorted.

Fan crutch
you can replace it your self it's not a hard job. take the shroud out then a couple bolts that hold the fan on. if it were me I would talk to my local parts store and have them set me up with and electric fan system. they are cheaper to maintain and increase horse power.
